The young receptionist with the super long hair was rude and uninformative. She screwed up the appointment by not allowing me to drop my car off and insisting the appointment was for pictures and evaluation only. I was so confused, but I don't argue with the front desk. My appointment was set up by my insurance, and now I have to go all the way back to Estero because of her misinformation and I have to drop off the car like I tried to the first time all over again. It will be about Christmas by the time I get another appointment, this is awful. Other than that, everyone else was nice, the location was easy to find, and the service was fast, but overall upsetting and a huge waste time. read more

All the employees I interacted with throughout my experience were all helpful, informational, and kind. I was frequently updated every couple of days via voicemail/ text message as preferred. My car was ready one day after the scheduled pick-up date due to my insurance rep being late to inspect the car. When I arrived to retrieve my car, I ran into some payment processing issues. Their receptionist went above and beyond to help me finish the payment process by kindly waiting an extra 10 minutes after closing hours to let me pick up my car. There was also a mechanic there to briefly explain any new details on the repair and advised that I contact them immediately if I saw anything wrong on my car. Want to give a 5 start shout out to Gerber Collision in Estero. Recently someone backed into the front bumper of my girl friend's SUV in a parking lot. Looked pretty lousy. She drove over to Gerber Collision in Estero because she had used them once before and was familiar with their work. While they had a sign up that said they were no longer accepting walk -ins for estimates, Joe was nice enough to take a look at the damage. He determined the dent could be pulled out without much effort and did not require body work or a new front end. He asked that she drop by the next day around lunch time. She did and after 15 minutes had the SUV back in tip top shape with no maintenance charge. Could not believe it. Now here is a local auto body place that is honest, ethical, provides top notch service and is a pleasure to recommend. A community gem. Thanks Gerber. read more

A USAA insurance paid Tesla hurricane repair. Estimate lower than non-cert Tesla shops. Made me suspect. 90 day repair. Told ar 3pm car available for pickup on Friday afternoon. I told rep app states only 18 miles (cannot get home 35 miles). Arrive 450pm asked for deductible $500, I state not until min of 35 miles charge. Remaining 3 staff not happy. At 525pm app states 33 miles charge. Depart for home and arrive with 5 miles. Inspect car find bug/bubbled paint. I would not return except for redo. Imagine 100 Tesla's in repair and forget to charge on release. Unsat. Rep left at 5pm. Cannot recco due to no/poor comms throughout, release with no charge and bad/buggy paint. Unsat. read more

Customer Service is back! I had someone hit my car in a parking lot. Gerber Estero originally did the repair work and the paint color was off. If any knows the Mazda Soul Red it is a three-stage color and gorgeous. After several months I went back and talked to the General Manager (Jim Walker) and asked simply: Shouldn't this color look identical to the rest of the car in all types of light? He agreed and proceeded to repaint the car admitting they made a mistake in the formulation..when does that happen.. right? My baby looks factory new and Jim followed-up the next day to ensure I was happy. GREAT JOB!!! read more

Lori and Oliver are absolutely terrific! I was frustrated with an inability to combine a warranty and a accident repair for service time, and Lori was able to schedule it all together. She is incredibly understanding. Oliver worked on my Tesla Model 3 that had been in an accident and it looked brand new when he was done. read more

Eight "definitely tomorrow's" later and we're still hoping we get the truck back tomorrow. We're now essentially 32 days (already closed for the day) into our 23 day guaranteed return date. Had a great experience with Gerber Collision on Corkscrew in Estero, FL. The facility is spotless clean with a very nice waiting room. I took my Audi A5 in for damage to right side door and fender. Received daily text message updates on the progress of the repairs. The body work came out perfect - paint match was excellent and you can not tell the vehicle was damaged. Work was completed on time and within pennies of the estimate. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and reviewed the estimate in detail before work began.
