My car insurance suggested this location. Big mistake. My car was in an accident on 1/29/23 (parked, hit by a drunk driver, etc) and insurance had it towed here. I was told (prior to tow) that tow ins are at about 3-4 weeks out. I call after 3 weeks--my car had just started to get looked at. I was told it's take another month and it needed to have suspension redone but that's only a day. That's a huge drag because all this time I was under the impression it was being worked on, I was using my insurance policy for a rental. And I'm gonna be without a car for another month? The final straw comes 3 weeks later (gerber having my car for 6 weeks!) I get a call from my insurance saying the car was reported a total loss, here are your next steps. I DID NOT GET A CALL. I WAS NOT TOLD ANY UPDATES. I have used all of my car rental money and now I have no car. Why did a tow in take 6 weeks to even evaluate? Confirm if the estimate from my insurance was accurate? 6 weeks no car, no rental...I. Short I'm kind of fucked over because of gerber. So so so disappointed. The ball was clearly dropped. read more

My Honda Pilot was hit by a deer. Yes. The deer HIT ME! It slammed up against the entire driver side. Both doors and back quarter panel needed replaced. Gerber did a fantastic job fixing everything. And quickly! They had Enterprise waiting for me with a rental car. Shelby is the gal who wears many hats and is on top of every situation for each customer. Harrison took such great care of me. And I couldn't be more pleased with his diligence, kindness, and explanation of every step in the process of getting my car fixed. I highly recommend Gerber in Westerville. I needed a new rear bumper and tail light. After their repairs my car looks brand new. You can't even tell it was ever damaged. The quality of the work is excellent and I would recommend them based on that alone. Communication was a little difficult, tho. They called to say my parts were in and to drop off my car. When I got there my parts were not in and they apologized for the mixup. Two weeks later my parts were in, I dropped off my car and it was ready the next day! A month after getting my car back I got one call to say my parts are in and another call saying my repairs were done. I'm a nutshell, the front desk needs some work, but the techs in the back are top notch. read more

Because my daughter had the need to do business with Gerber when her Nitro was totaled and when they repaired a ding on her Infiniti and they provided effient service, I went to them for an estimate on my damaged Lt rear quarter panel on Buick Lucerne. If your insurer says to use Gerber, run away fast! First it takes way too long to get an estimate (make an appointment which will be a week to get.) Second, plan on a long delay before starting because "we're busy and can't get parts". Third, call to delay multiple more weeks, but don't tell customers until the night before! Fourth, find hidden damage after work finally starts that REQUIRES MORE parts. Fifth, send an automated text saying it's almost ready for reassembly, but fail to track that last required part that holds up reassembly. Sixth, SURPRISE! It's going to take another 5 days because we weren't smart enough to look at tracking today (or yesterday or the day before) and figure out its not going to be in Ohio today because it's several states away. In other words, GERBER WILL NOT EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW OR JUST DONT CARE. It is not the supplier's fault you don't track shipping effectively. It's your fault for not communicating until last Moment. read more

My SUV was hit by a deer and required a new passenger front door with paint blending. It was returned in excellent condition. Interior was spotless. The paint job is phenomenal! Looks good as new! I brought my newly purchased car from carvana to Gerber Collision and glass to correct some paint issues that carvana hadn't shown. Monica was welcoming and informative for my estimate and had dealt with Carvana's warranty company, SilverRock before. She took her time in giving me an estimate for the work they would cover and a separate estimate for some blemishes I knew the car was coming with. She got approval to start the work a day or two later, scheduling for the repair was a breeze. Monica kept me informed by text of the progress and the status on a contractor that was needed to replace the hood stripes. I was able to pick my car up within the timeframe given and they really went above and beyond with the quality of their work. They buffed the entire car which reduced the visibility or completely erased a couple of blemishes that were on my individual estimate. I highly recommend Gerber collision and glass! read more

I had multiple instances when working with gerber that i woud not consider good customer service. First I took my car there for an estimate i then discovered weeks after the estimate that i suppose to leave my car and get a rental car the same day as the estimate. I then went through a game of run around trying to get my car schedule for repair. Let's put it this way it took me multiple phone calls between geico and gerber to get that resolved. Then they fixed my car and proceed to send me a text at 4:06pm on a friday. I lived in gahanna so jumped in car and call ahead to tell them I may be 5 minutes late. I was told they close the doors at 5pm and if you do not make it by then I could not get my car. So I had a choice at that point as I arrived about 10 minutes before 5pm. That being the case I did not want to take the chance of trying to get gas in the rental since they leave at 5pm no matter what. So i got my car and left the rental knowing it would probably cost me at least $30 gas fee from enterprise. If I did not get my car on Friday I most likely would of have to pay for the rental over the weekend. So Gerber please do not send a text at 4:06pm on a Friday telling a customer to pick up no later than 5:00pm. Please try to do better. read more

The other driver's insurance company set everything up, and the entire process was seamless. They really meant it when they said they wanted me to be 100 % satisfied. Amazing customer service! My car needed both body and glass repair and the service was done in a week. I was always greeted with a smile from estimate, to drop off, and pick up. Every single person I met there was so professional and happy to help. My car looked fantastic upon pick up after they had to buff, paint, repair, and replace parts of the car. I even called later that day because I thought my blind spot monitor/mirror system had not been recalibrated or hooked back up. They were willing to send a crew to my house to fix and even troubleshooted the problem with me over the phone even though this car function would not have been touched during the time my car was at the shop (car was fine, user error in my part, ha!) But they were willing to help. I was already more than pleased with my text updates and how the car looked after repair and wanted to give them 10 stars If I could. I had such a great experience today at Gerber! I dropped of my car to get a dent repaired. Less than two hours later it was ready! The workmanship was outstanding. Not only did they repair the car, they washed it too and it truly looked like a brand new car. The service there was excellent. They offered to pick me up if I needed a ride. Adam Powers was friendly and extremely helpful. I definitely recommend Gerber to anyone looking to make repairs to their vehicle. read more
