Strike 2: On the 2nd attempt, I did get a call from Nathan, but I was on a work call. He left a voice message. I called back shortly after and left a voice message apologizing for missing the call but am ready for someone to come by. The appointment time comes and goes, and no one shows up again. Strike 3: I message Chanel via Yelp again, and she indicated that she'll reschedule me again. On the 3rd day, I get no call from Nathan, and no one shows up. I give up.

While they weren't punctual, they were affordable, staff was pleasant, and they were efficient once they arrived. We then hired Nathaniel and crew to do some yard work. Punctuality continued to be an issue. In fact, they wouldn't even come on the day they stated, and they were difficult to get a hold of. Still, we found Nathaniel pleasant to work with and the job was completed according to our agreement. Unfortunately, we can't recommend them or use them again because we have a contract with them, and they never finished about $900 of the work. They kept saying they'd come. The admin person kept saying her emails were stuck in her outbox, so we didn't receive communication about delays. Nathaniel stopped responding to texts. We even had our lawyer send a letter, and no one responded. We decided not to pursue the issue further. Needless to say, this was an expensive and overwhelmingly negative experience.

Unfortunately Cambridge had a tree removal moratorium in place so we had to delay this work. We finally decided to go forward with the tree removal, pay Cambridge the fine for removal and we called Marlon. Marlon seemed happy to hear from us again and have a repeat customer. Marlon sent his tree person out to provide an estimate for the tree removal, trimming another tree and removing a dead tree stump and sidewalk repair. Seems like a decent size smallish job. Marlon's tree man said he would have a proposal to us "shortly" within the following week. We never received a quote-proposal. We have left several voice msgs and have also sent two or three e-mails to Marlon and we have never heard back. Marlon has ghosted us. There is another review where Marlon scheduled an appt. and never showed up. If you want to be ghosted or waste your time waiting for Marlon well, then he's your man-company. The competitor tried to win my business back by claiming my insurance company called him. I called my insurance company and they said they had no record of the call and I hadn't even given a list of potential providers to them so they had no way of knowing who was in the area. I called the competitor and asked him to give me the name of who he spoke with at my insurance company. The competitor never returned my phone call. I worked with James from Heritage Landscaping to completely renovate our front yard. Now that the…read morework has been completed, I ultimately regret my decision to go with them over other landscaping companies. I have never left a review for anything online before, but feel as though I have to after the experience I had with Heritage. This was not a small or cheap project and I feel as though I deserved a much higher level of work upon completion. Although there were certain things that were done well (pathway and sprinkler system that were contracted out to third parties), the landscaping itself left a lot to be desired. Here is a list of the issues that I experienced: 1. They did not edge any of the mulch beds. 2. The mulch they laid down was not laid evenly along the pathway. 3. When they reseeded the lawn, they planted seed on all of the mulch beds and I now have grass growing though my mulch beds. Furthermore, there are still parts of the grass that never grew. 4. They agreed to remove a small tree and they were unable to remove the stump. I now have to reach out to a tree removal company to grind it down. 5. When the irrigation company came to install the system, there was no plan to have the system water the newly planted plants along the house and pathway. The irrigation company installed a drip system anyways after I spoke up. In fairness, James and his team did cover the cost of the drip system once it was installed. The most disappointing part of my whole experience is that I texted James about some of issues that I thought could be remedied a few days ago, specifically the mulch beds and how bad it looks. However, he has not responded to me.
