Having recently embarked on a great PT regime, it quickly became apparant that I had some abnormal restriction in my left arm. At the recommendation of my PT group I decided to abandon my regular Physio out in the burbs and give Momentum a try. At the time I figured that one Physio is likely as good as the next so choosing one close to work makes sense. While I am delighted that I made this decision, I stand corrected! The Physio treating me (Marty) is outstanding and far more thorough than all of my previous Physiotherapists. At my first appointment Marty spent a full hour thoroughly assessing the restriction in my mobility and strength, constantly questioning me as he prodded and poked, and reached the conclusion that in addition to some general restriction he could manage, he needed to enlist my GP's assistance in referring me for an MRI or CT scan. Rather than send me to the GP to explain things myself, he wrote a detailed account of his assessment and made the request on my behalf. He also had the GP letter ready for me in less than 24 hours, so that I could get what I needed without delay. Turns out his judgement call was spot on, and thanks to his thorough approach and fast action I have already seen a Neurosurgeon for an opinion on managing the apparent nerve damage in my arm. In the meantime I have continued treatment with him and after only 2 sessions I have more range of movement in my back and neck than I have had in 10 years. I am sure that he has achieved these results so quickly because he spends the entire 30 minute session focussing on the problem. There's no 15 minutes of heat pack, 10 minutes of gentle massage, 5 minutes of stretching and off you go, which is what I had experienced from my local Physio's. I still have a way to go to having the range of movement I want, but having achieved so much so quickly I am very confident that unrestricted movement is in my future. The fees at Momentum are the same as I have paid elsewhere, and they send you a txt reminder of your appointment the day before. Even better, they have early morning and evening appointments so I don't have to take time off work to attend.

Which is important when you are being healed with hurt. I came here with a somewhat debilitating neck complaint, and my pain has been removed. I found Fiona to be very skilled using experience to diagnose me expertly and assess quickly that it was actually my arm muscles restricting my neck movement. After some intense treatment of those muscles my neck is no longer strained and my posture has straightened - I feel great. I can highly recommend Fiona and her team, who are light hearted, but serious about their job. I've had massage, acupuncture and ultrasound treatments and they were all exceptional.

Appointments are tailored towards the recovery of your injury. They have a really nice space to achieve recovery, strengthening or just general massage therapy depending on your needs. It would be good to go for a consultation and see if you enjoy the services. The person below obviously didn't understand the idea...or looked for the wrong thing and that's just poor on their part not this business. It was not what I was looking for as a place where I could feel comfortable with a massage in an appropriate environment. There facility is a kind of open room which incorporates all sorts of treatment. Comments on reviews as mentioned may well be validated, however if you are looking for specific treatment; ie (that requires massage therapy) this is probably not going to be the place for you. I'm 64 years old and have a history with my back since I was in my 20's. This back issue was different from my previous issues and I wanted Tom to understand that. He listened for a good 15 minutes and asked a few questions as I went on. At the end he gave me an exercise that I had done in the past and had stopped doing that made all the difference. He explained in detail with a little model of the spine what the problem most likely was. I was very grateful for that. I don't like it when medical people just say "Take these pills and I will see you in 2 weeks." After 2 weeks I feel I'm 99% back to normal. Two weeks after seeing my GP i was the same, no improvement. Thanks very much Tom. I really appreciate it.

I've found all the staff to be unfailingly polite, they have the HICAPS system in place if you have health care and they are pretty good with being on time and further recommendations on exercise for injuries. They also have massage on site that is not physio. I'll keep on going here because of their physio manner - they are helpful and friendly.
