I even advocated for this gym to other parents letting them know that SURELY their kids privates would not be jeopardized. I WAS WRONG!! For over a year I have had my daughter at the same day and time, however they decided to make it a free for all, EVEN THOUGH there's an option to make a recurring option, it actually does not. So, after paying over $2k in the last year, and my daughter being dedicated to her one day a week time, I am now having to check the site and choosing random days and times to make sure my daughter doesn't lose her skills. After this went live, Karen promised to make it right, but then did NOT. She actually said "I think it'll work itself out" and did NOT take care of my issue. Instead, she said "well I guess I could call the parent and ask if you can have your time back"..... what a real manager and leader would do is say, "You're right, I did promise that and I will make the phone call and let the parent know those times are actually unavailable." If my daughter did not absolutely LOVE her coach, I would go elsewhere. Poor management like this leads me to believe it is not all about progression and dedication to the gym. I'm extremely shocked and disappointed at the response, or lack there of, of this issue. Privates are important to athletes, as this is something they look forward to weekly... or whenever you can snag one on the site.

It's rather discouraging to walk through the Zoo and see closure after closure, renovation signs every few exhibits. We went with a group of friends and both of us brought our kids (elementary through high school) on Easter weekend. Exhibit transitions and renovations happen, but playgrounds were closed, various food areas closed, and many of our favorite Zoo animals nowhere to be found. It feels like many of the Zoo animals were an afterthought to be honest. Almost as if the zoo needed to quickly fill a space to showcase an animal. The Akron Zoo is a smaller scale zoo compared to Cleveland or Columbus, but need more animals that wow and draw people to the zoo. The Mini Melts (practically Dippin Dots) were for sale around the park for $6. The pictures in this review show the cafeteria in the Komado center including pricing. Inside the Komodo Center were the Galapagos Tortoises and a few fish aquariums. The aquariums showcased a couple of tanks similar to Nemo (clownfish) next to an aquarium with fish similar to Dory.
