And note, when my kid thinks the pizza sucks, the pizza really does suck. But Chuck E. Cheese is not really about any high quality food, it is about kids being able to run around, play some games and amass a pile of tickets for something from their prize wall. So, here I am with Grandpa & Grandma and my kiddos in tow for my first experience at this kiddie wonderland and finding that I too am enjoying the silly little games too. The place can get busy, even on this summer weekday, I can only imagine the hysteria on a weekend! The place is fairly large, but its play area is fairly contained. For the amount of mess that I know children can create in five seconds, this place was pretty clean. I also liked the child check-in system, that ensures you leave with the number of kiddos you arrived with. Yep, I'd bring my kids here again because there is fun to be had by all. Chuck E Cheese, the first thing my family needed to do was get a good meal ordered... didn't go so…read morewell. Explaining just how we would prefer to get the pizzas made was a minor tragedy, but we did make it through, ordered, and got a good chunk of coins the kids could use to play. How were the Games? Several times tokens were eaten up where the game didn't even start... I will say that when I went up and reported this, the tokens were replaced, but, the game was left as is and I watched others loose a token, just as my grandkids did! I went to let them know of this again and still, nothing was done with the games. In general here, too many games were actually downed (before we got there) and as I mentioned, a few of the non-downed games ate many tokens. Ok, not thrilled with the games here! The food. WOW! First the pizzas were not made as they were ordered. Second, they were half burnt. Third, they were terrible tasting. Now I thought I have gone to worst places for pizza, but Chuck E Cheese took the number 1 spot. TERRIBLE. And no, I did not go complain or try to fill out a card stating the food was terrible, but if you are one who has not been there before, beware... Last but certainly not least, this place was terribly DIRTY. Yes, there was a good number of people there, and yes pretty much all the kids I watched appeared to be having fun, but goodness, hire a person who can somewhat keep this place clean... people are here eating. Good news here is that the bathrooms were not too too bad. I have been to many places where the bathrooms were much worse. Bottom line here, no thumbs up that is for certain. And when our grandkids want to go again, I think we are going to go to Walmart, buy them a couple movies and take them back to our house and cook them what they want most. Shoot, this will most certainly cost less, and I think the grandkids will enjoy it more... Chuck E Cheese, my suggestion is to one, keep your place clean. Two, keep the games you have running well and not ripping off tokens from kids! (Most younger kids are not even going to go tell their parents and grandparents they lost a token or two, maybe more in general.) And third, do you even care about what your food tastes like? You really should care about your customers, not getting our money! G
