WOW! After years of searching I finally found my hair dressing guru! Luke Jobson of Get Blown Hairdressing in Preston, Melbourne Victoria. I was very impressed with Luke as not only is he a very talented hairdresser who loves his work ... he is personable, kind, patient and makes you feel like family. His precision and attitude is sometimes hard to find in a hairdresser. I love that Luke cares enough for his clients that he'll recommend what's best for them! I was also very grateful that Luke correctly diagnosed my scalp condition as "psoriasis" and not just simply a "dry scalp" as advised incorrectly in the past. Luke also offers clients a home service. His charges are very reasonable and his website is all conclusive with photos of haircuts, colour and foils helping you to choise your ideal style. Zucci uses Aveda products which are flower and plant based that smell absolutely amazing!! Your hair will never smell better. The salon has just had a makeover, but it has always been a very modern salon with stylish staff to match. Quality is evident in every detail- even the magazines are high fashion (none of the gossip magazine crap that makes me cringe). Make sure you enjoy an Aveda licorice tea throughout your appointment. If you're there during quieter times you may even be lucky enough to score a hand massage or have make up applied by the apprentices. I recently had the pleasure of visiting "Get Blown Hair Styling" and I must say that I had one of the best experiences there. I was attended by the amazing hairdresser, Luke who did an exceptional job with my hair. He paid such close attention to detail, making sure every strand was in place and that the end result was exactly what I had in mind. He was very professional and efficient with his work, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. Moreover, the salon's decor is beautiful and the ambiance is so cozy and relaxing. It's truly a home away from home and away from the noise and anxiety of busy shopping centres and crowds. I felt so comfortable and at ease throughout my entire appointment.
