The service was good. Everyone was really nice. The food was okay. I went with a large group and we ordered a bunch of appetizers. I just felt like everything just missed the mark there was nothing that was like exceptionally good aside from the pretzel with beer cheese. That was my favorite part of the meal for sure. Super happy to have them back in Hudson. The restaurant looks fantastic and the staff is always friendly. Today though is pretty typical of a Get Hooked outing. Went to the upstairs bar and the band was playing. Waited 5-10 minutes cash in hand to buy 2 drinks and couldn't. Then some folks left the bar and we took their seats, but still no service. Decided to move inside and we were able to get two drinks and menus... and they never came back to take a food order. Literally had to flag down the bartender to get our bill. I'm not saying they were whistling dixie, they're all moving. It might be a management problem understanding Ollie's is gone and we see their customers everywhere right now. Food was the worse I ever had. Order seafood platter deobalo patter shrimp,oysters ,and mussels on a bed of noodles. Most of the mussels and the clams shells were not even opened and you could not eat them, the few that were, cracked pieces of shells were mixed in with the noodles, they only gave me 3 shrimp s when asked to talk to manager he laughed in my face while telling him the broken shells can seriously hurt someone very badly. The shells that were not open were not cooked enough when you try to order a drink from the bar you had to wait so long even customers around our table were complaining about the bar service and another customer was saying how bad the food was After the manager walked away. I will never go back there again and if you take kids please be careful about the shell and uncooked food. The music so loud you could not hear your waiter and they cannot hear, you had to repeat yourself so many time. I love music with my dinner but if you cannot talk to your company across the table that is unbelievable for a restaurant. I do know I was not the only one complaining and I sure don't write reviews I just felt I had to say something before somebody gets seriously injured from a restaurant that doesn't care what their customers are saying. read more

I rarely leave reviews but when the owner herself comes over, heavily intoxicated, saying our 6 year olds were going to steal her tables, being disrespectful, and literally hovering over us, a review should be posted. The food was ok, and our waitress was great. Unfortunately, the owner left a disgusting taste in our mouth as we were paying to leave. The only reason why I gave them a 4 star is they added on the tax ... if course but a service fee and sone other kind if weird fee- in the $74 bill they added $11.74 for weird fees. My Mom paid - she said she made that and the tip equal to a 20% tip so $4 in a tip. What are these "other" charges? We had the gulf grouper and the scallops appetizer.. It would have been nice if the server informed us that the scallops were only a few dollars less than the grouper. It would have been nice to be told because we would have ordered another entree instead .. Or maybe we would have thought the scallops were worth it..We will never know..The scallops were great BUT I feel like I got ripped off because 8 scallops were $29.95. The blackened grouper dinner with a salad and 2 sides was $32.95 ... so a nice night on the town left a bad taste in the mind because of communication. So instead of walking away feeling like I had a good meal and nice experience with my hubby .. I instead feel cheated and don't think I will try Get Hooked again .. Slow service, although there was a lot of people there. This is a mgmt issue, not giving direction and keeping people on task. Last two times I've been there it's been an hour wait even though there is open tables because They have no waitstaff but they can let people sit down and have a drink and tell them that's gonna be an hour maybe before they can order dinner let them sit out there in the heat while they have 3 to 4 young too young probably to serve alcohol girl sitting at the hostess table hostess stand. Doing absolutely nothing. I get Everyone is understaffed but to have three teenagers sitting there doing absolutely nothing is ridiculous. A hidden gem in Hudson! Excellent service and nice variety on menu. My wife and I decided to check this restaurant out last weekend and I believe we found a new favorite! We were down here visiting from Pennsylvania and had a fantastic meal with stone crab. we were going to buy fresh and it was less expensive to go and have the meal prepared for you. We went back again last night for our second visit, and it was equally as good. Great service, great food, you definitely want to go to this place. I will be back again next year!!! read more

So, I'll say the food was ok, service was good but the one thing that frosted my ----------, was that they charged me a processing fee for using my credit card. I've heard of this happening but it's never happened to me. There was nothing anywhere around the restaurant, either on the menu or signage anywhere stating that there would be a processing fee for credit cards. We ate lunch there today and we're disappointed ... We always told everyone about their amazing clam chowder but it looks like the recipe has changed and it's not the same. I sent mine back and asked for it to be taken off the bill. I just dont understand why one changes the recipe when what you have is exceptional , just because there is a new cook? I am "Hooked" and have been eating here for over 7 years. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ever ordered until last night. The Key Lime pie was frozen rock hard and I was told that it is always that way ( not any other time I have had it here) also it was " explained" that key lime pie becomes watery if left in the fridge. I make key lime pie at home and have never had that issue so I don't know what to think about that but I won't order it again. read more

We went for lunch on a Saturday and ate outside. I got 1lb of stone crab claws for 11.99 per pd and my hubby got snapper fish tacos. The service and the food were both excellent. One of my favorite places to go. Food and drinks are great. Sometimes the place get real busy so get there early. Just like anywhere you go when it's real busy things will slow down and should be expected. Been eating at get hooked even before the moved from the old building. This is crazy ... That an hour and a half , in a half occupied restaurant we still have NO FOOD. Don't come here if you are really hungry. My date got scallops and for 25 bucks was skimpy and I a smoked salmon BLT , and I think my filet was frozen....we both gave it a 5. Crappy service, the kitchen must be really disorganized if people that came after got food first. I won't be back. So disappointed, I've been wanting to go.
