Even Bill who applied it wasn't satisfied with the way it looked and said he would come back to do a second coat. He never came back. Even after many phone calls I made to him. We were looking to have our stamped concrete repainted and he said he knew how to do that and could do the job. He didn't prep the concrete and the paint chipped off a week later. He refused to return my phone calls and never came back to fix his mistake. I had to hire a different company to come and sandblast off all the left over paint and have it repainted. NEVER USE KLAETSCH PAVING!

The company owner, Paul Hinsa, stopped by on 10/17/24 to see the porch and discuss the work that needed to be done. He stated that a modified cost estimate would be sent to us by the weekend. No such cost estimate was ever received and he has refused to respond to any of our subsequent calls, texts, and emails.

Then as the process dragged on, communication fell off, and now he's not responding to my emails, texts, or complaint to the Dept of Consumer Protection. Our main issue is with our roof which we had inspected by a neutral 3rd party only to find that it was installed improperly and even the shingle warranty from the manufacturer would be void due to the poor installation. Before we finished paying Matt for the overall work, he and I spent several hours in discussion and Matt agreed that he would come back in the spring and redo our roof correctly. It is now almost September and I haven't heard anything from him since despite repeated emails, complaints, etc. We tried to be extremely understanding of his busy schedule, but since he's now blatantly ignoring our request for him to honor his word and come back and redo the roof, we're forced to resort to more public measures. I sincerely hope that I can come back and amend this review in the near future stating that Matt completed the work he said he would.
