I have general distrust of most mechanic shops, but Jason has really won over my trust. He also does all car/truck repair, not just transmissions. My only hesitation in writing this review is that it makes him more busy that he already is. He always has a full shop and takes a few days or week to get into despite no reviews here! After explaining the sounds and symptoms I was assured that the problem was not the transmission and that it only needed some new spark plugs and that my engine light was on because of a leaky gas cap, that's it! After they diagnosed the quote came in the rebuilt by 2011 Jeep Wrangler transmission for over $4500. This was way above the industry standard for a rebuild which is no more than $3000. They would not provide me with a breakdown of the parts they needed to replace but verbally told me it was just the gears. Kyle told me he didn't have the time to write down all the parts. After I decided to go with someone else. They put all my transmission parts outside on their drive way for me to pick up. Attached are pictures of my parts left outside.This is not how you do business! I have since filed a complaint with the consumer protection act. I ended up going to triple A transmission in Newmarket and they ended up charging me $2700 flat.
