Five Stars and More! Recently my grandfather passed away. It was a sad and trying time. Everything involved fell onto my shoulders (not complaining, just explaining) and I found it really hard to deal with. Here I was in Florida trying to run my business, take care of my family and several members if the family were down with Covid. And then my grandfather passes away all the way up in Virginia and all I can take off is two days because it's nearly impossible to find employees we are short staffed. Again, not complaining just explaining. So I called in advance to several companies that do junk removal near Richmond Virginia. I was explaining I needed to fly in... Make arrangements to transport Grandfather back home. And then go through and sort everything in the home into four groups. Three stacks were items to send to relatives and the last stack was going to be items to donate to charity or be disposed of. I said I would need someone there who could assist me with tagging and sorting... and then the next day they could haul things away. Most companies did not even bother to answer their phones or call me back. Others said it was too complicated. Still others jumped right to a huge price. I was stressed to the point of losing it. Then I spoke to William (Billy...) at Get My Junk... He said he was tied up with another job on the morning in question (It happens and I understand) but he suggested I simply put colored post it notes on it and that later that day he would come and physically sort it out for me. And that's exactly what he did. That day and the next he grouped everything for each colored post it into a separate area of the home (close to the entrances)... and then took the items I wanted to dispose of and separated them into two stacks. The first stack was items that I could donate to charities and the other stack (My grandfather was a bit of a hoarder - but not too bad) would be taken to the local recycling center and dump. Once it was all separated his crew came in and not only took the items to the charity and recycling centers... but also helped crate up the items that needed to be shipped to my family members. Then a friend of Billy's in the shipping business came by and picked up the crates and off they went. Billy and his crew accomplished in a day and a half what it would have taken me a month to do (even if I had a truck). They were nice, polite, friendly, fast, on-time and the price was absolutely fair. They could have tried jacking up the price because they knew I did not have time to find another company. They didn't. These guys are honest and I recommend them to those of you who need honest help in disposing of items you no longer need. (Two thumbs up!) read more

Bill and his crew came today to remove the contents of my attic, furniture, and household items. I can't say enough amazing things about this junk removal service!!!! They sorted my items and donated usable items to local charities, then dropped the rest at the dump. They were professional, fast, and very clean.
