Ricardo is not only an expert who will gladly help and repair your PC, but he's also fair, communicative, and exceptionally skilled. In addition, my PC was repaired and ready to be picked up within a day of leaving it in Ricardo's hands. When my PC wouldn't turn on -- which I believed to be a power supply issue -- I first took it to Best Buy for a diagnosis. However, they could not have been less helpful; they wouldn't even attempt to identify the problem. In contrast, when I reached out to Ricardo, he very nobly offered free advice on the safest and most cost-effective steps to diagnose and fix my PC in an effort to save me money. At the same time, he reassured me that he'd be happy to handle the repair himself if that was my preference. I can confidently say there's nowhere else I'd rather go for my computer services and repairs. I would be remiss not to mention the care and thoroughness he brings to every step of the process. Not only did Ricardo repair my PC -- the service I received truly went the extra mile. It's now running like brand new. In addition to replacing the power supply, he completely cleaned out the dust, replaced the thermal paste on the CPU, and checked for viruses and malware. Throughout the process, Ricardo maintained clear communication regarding the services he was performing, and he never charged me for anything I didn't request.

    I hired Chapline Electronics to service my computer system on two separate occasions. Phil (owner)…read morevisited my home office and repaired the system without incident. At the conclusion of each visit, he was paid in full. There was no conflict of any kind between us. Since then, my computer system has had the same issue. I have called and left multiple voicemails; e-mailed several times; and I even sent a physical letter to ask for help. I have given more than ample time (several months) for a response. There has been no response of any kind. In any business relationship between a customer and a business owner, trust is a key ingredient. Phil Chapline broke this trust when he suggested that I contact him if future problems developed. When I needed help, he chose to ignore a paying customer who he had no conflict with. As a result, I definitely would not recommend Chapline Electronics...can't trust this business.

Then I gave Chapline computers a call. He also told me it would probably be 2-3 days. However he was able to give me a probable diagnosis over the phone with a corresponding cost estimate (under $100). I decided to drop the computer off at Chapline. Instead of the 2-3 day wait I was expecting, he asked me if I had a few minutes, proceeded to take the computer apart and replace the power supply and send me home with a repaired computer 15 minutes later - all for less than $100! As I earn my living using this computer every day, I was extremely happy with this good old-fashioned, excellent customer service. Although I'm sure they can't offer that sort of turnaround time (or price) on most repair jobs I will nevertheless be using them for all my computer repair needs in the future.
