After reading reviews on several sites, I went to Geyser Falls with low expectations. Overall, it was better than I expected. My wife and I took 2 granddaughters, age 6 and 10, on a Thursday in mid July, 2025. The kids had a great time and, for the most part, my wife and I did, too. Lines were short on this weekday with waits for water slides no longer than 10 minutes and 0-5 minutes on some slides. The bathrooms would not win any awards, but were satisfactory. As stated in another review that I read, the wave pool was closed a couple of times for 30 minutes when we wanted to go in due to "contamination." As stated in many reviews, the food situation was a nightmare. The kids did some waterslides while I watched them and my wife got in line at Afo's Restaurant. The park was not crowded and the line at the restaurant wasn't that long. However, she was in line for just under an hour. It was a monument of inefficiency, with lots of employees just standing around in back. In summary, the kids had fun and I would go back. The park could really benefit from hiring a consultant to revamp the operation, especially food service. If I go again, I would consider packing a lunch in a cooler and going back out to my vehicle for lunch. Let's start with the pricing. $50 per person over the age of 3 is perfectly fine. The attractions are good but the Round About River is less than accommodating. There is no way that 10 mins after opening the park there are no tubes for this attraction. The parking lot was less than a quarter full. Park opened at 11am and 11:13am there were 22 people waiting on a tube. How? This is the 5 visit for me in 12 years and it's been the same. Other issue is seating for eating. We don't mind renting cabanas but if they are booked we are literally walking or standing for hours. Online there are these cabanas called Mango which for some odd reason are not available for booking. Imaging buying a meal and standing in the hot sun to eat it because the dining area is occupied and any other seating area not suitable for dining also. Maybe it's by design to keep people in motion or get people in and out the park as to not exceed capacity either way it is the most inconvenient way and least fun thing about this water park. As much fun that could be had by simply providing a 100 more tubes and seating for 200 more patrons I believe this has been suggested over the years and still no change but to the detriment of this water park. Definitely go to have fun but expect to be patient and be exhausted with little to no relief other than going home. read more

First visit! Had a great time here today! We rented one of the deluxe cabanas and it was 100% worth it! We had excellent service from Kaila the entire time! Food was great drinks cold and really not over-priced at all! We saw the line to get into the beach club at lunch so we were super thankful for having our food and drinks orders being taken and brought to us all day! Everyone we came in contact with was nice, cheerful, and helpful! There was a bit of a crowd bc of it being a holiday and discounted tickets but not too bad. My only irritation was being told to come stand in line at 6am to get the deeply discounted tickets and that we could just have 1 person stand in line-and they did. For 3 hours to receive a pink ticket to buy ONE ticket later. Not for our whole family like we had been told. Should've just bought them online. Got to the park later annoyed -but then was pleasantly surprised when my teacher discount was as good as the discount we missed out on. They offer teacher and "A" student discounts!! WIN! And with the cabana we really felt like we scored. All and all-Great day and fun had by all!! Will come again for sure!! read more

After reading some of these reviews, I was a bit weary of coming. I'm so glad that we came anyway!! I had a gaggle of boys and we were here nearly all day. It was during a weekday; therefore, less crowded. There are a couple of huge, adventuresome slides, a couple of sandy, lagoon-style "beaches" with plenty of shaded beach lounge chairs, a wave pool (Not too powerful. My boys were disappointed, but I was relieved. There were a couple of drownings at a wave pool in Vegas), a separate little kids fun zone, and a lazy river. You can rent an enclosed cabana for the day ($50 during the week, double during the weekend). There are plenty of locker areas to secure valuables, vending machines, food kiosks, and two main eating places: a grill and a sit-down place that serves alcohol (!!). We ate at the sit-down restaurant which served typical fare like chicken fingers and burgers. Huge servings!! Did I mention they serve alcohol?? All in all, I was pleasantly surprised and will most definitely return. I suspect disgruntled people were here during a weekend day when it's undoubtably crowded and chaotic. Park is clean. We went on a Monday so not crowded. They were out of bottled water. They were out of lids for drinks. The staff that was friendly were amazing. Some of the staff (mainly younger ones) need to work on their customer service skills (ignoring people in food lines while talking with friends, remember to smile instead of blank stare, realize other people can hear their conversation). Overall, we really enjoyed the experience, would recommend & we will return. read more

We went on a Wednesday overall we had a great visit. Wasn't too terrible busy. Maybe a 5 minute wait for rides on a slide. It stormed while we were there so they shit down the park for about 45 mins. We had fun here, we didn't have the kids with us today so we mainly stayed in the Lazy River and in the wave pool and in the beach area. There are two things that were pretty disappointing, 1. I got in the food line at 2:20pm, when I finally got to the counter to order they made me wait an additional 10 minutes to order "to allow them to catch up" yet they were taking the orders for the cabana people that just walked up when I had already been in line for 30 minutes waiting to order, they didn't take my order until 3:05pm, and then I had to wait until 3:30 before they handed me my food. The staff was disorganized the group in front of me got all of her food except one quesadilla,they skipped over her chicken quesadilla and handed us our steak quesadilla, then the guy that was two people behind me got all of his food before we did (and we ordered the same thing, a philly cheesesteak and a polish dog) they were out of chips, and out of sodas. The staff showed no since of urgency. Needless to say there was a LONG line of disappointed/irritated people. The nacho bar had just as long of a wait as well and they ran out of meat and chips. We will be eating BEFORE we go to the park next time. The second huge disappointment is we waited until we were ready to leave to get dipping dots, we went 30 minutes before close and as we were walking up the staff was chaining off the entrance. We told her we waited to get dipping dots before we left (it was 4:30pm, they close the place at 5pm), is there any way possible we can grab some seeing as there were 5 other people waiting in line to get some too, she'd told us no they were closed. The attractions are fun but there was a heat advisory and the sidewalk burned the skin off of my feet. They need a sprinkler system or something to keep the sidewalks from being hot. Also they need to provide free water stations for the guest. Overall though everything was fun. read more

Giving this place 2 stars. It was our first water park experience. We made sure to read the policies before arriving since my husband is a diabetic and needs his insulin in a small lunchbox. Their bag policy only states exceptions are made for infants and medical needs...we waited in line in the hot sun with our 3 year old for them only to tell my husband he could not have his INSULIN in the park unless we had a freaking doctor's note. That's just ridiculous. We even offered to show them the insulin and the guy kept saying we needed a Dr's note....a Dr's note for the water park because that's just something people carry around. Good thing my husband didnt have a medical emergency. Also people will run smaller kids over without a second thought. Honesty the bad reviews are just family's ticked off about the restaurant, which actually is amazing my kids love it every time we go there is a racing slide, lazy river, kids water park, toddlers water park, and thrill seeking slides and there are so many more fun things there to even list the restaurant is amazing one of my boys is a picky eater, and even enjoys the food. And the staff are amazing people and this may sound like a bad thing but when something that looked like a snake was in the lazy river the lifeguards were quick to escort people and they found the snake and the lazy river was open in 45 - 60 minutes. So don't call the workers lazy. Overall this place doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's a amazing water park and I would go again any time. read more

We tried to eat lunch at the beach club restraunt got sat at a table and then nobody would wait on us my wife went and asked what was going on and apparently they didn't have a waitress for our area and the hostess should not have sat us there so they finally took our order. So then an hour later and we never even got our drinks so we got up to leave and a waitress said the kitchen was backed up but that don't explain our drinks. When it's hot enough to enjoy being outside in the water, I don't mind traveling over to Geyser Falls in Philadelphia. My friends and I loaded up the car and made the one hour trek to the waterpark. We bought Pepsi products for the $5 discount, however, I am an employee of the state so actually that was a better discount. It took $10 off each entry ticket. Geyser Falls is a very fun and exciting place to be; as soon as you walk in you can see the lazy river and the Backsplash, the best water ride, in my option. Along the trail are 'geysers' in the ground that randomly squirt water! They have small and large locker storage, which is super convenient and reasonably priced. They give you a key and you keep up with it while at the park which can be kind of a hassle, but i tied mine to my swimsuit! They have life vests rentable for the little swimmers, there are food and snowball stand throughout the park as well. Also, if parents don't want to run around with the kids all day, there are many lounge chairs located a almost ever ride. For lunch my friends and I went to the restaurant in the Clear Water Key section. It was around noon and there was a reasonable lunch crowd waiting around the door to be seated. We patiently waited outside then noticed we needed to go inside to be seated. There was no one taking guests to the tables and some people said they had been waiting for thirty minutes. We got one of the waiters' attention and were seated. The table hadn't been wiped from the guests before us and we were not given menus. We never saw that waitress again. After a few minutes another waitress noticed us sitting unattended and took our drink and food orders, she was very polite and apologetic. Much to our surprise, the food came to our table after only about five minutes of waiting. We asked for extra sauce and the waitress never brought it but she did clean our table for us. Luckily the food was very reasonable or I would've been very unhappy. Everything about geyser falls is wonderful, except the service at the restaurant and that is why I must give it three stars. read more

We went with friends on a Saturday and rented one of their large cabanas for $200. We were all impressed when we learned each cabana had a specific server assigned to it. However, we saw her when we first arrived and of course we didn't want to order anything at that time but 2 hours later, when we all returned to the cabana pretty famished from all the water activities, the server was nowhere to be found. We waited for about 20 minutes then I walked over to the My Tie cafe to grab some drinks and snacks myself. My husband and his friend ended up flagging down another server who said he could have our server paged. He did and she finally came to take our orders. The food arrived quickly but without silverware. It took so long to get silverware that my husband ended up standing in line at the cafe and came back with silverware before the waitress returned. Also, the kids' meals did not come with grapes as listed nor seasoned fries (just regular fries). We had to ask for the grapes which they did eventually bring. I get that it's a water park and not a 5 star restaurant but I guess we were expecting better service based on the price of the cabana. Overall, the cabana was nice but you can forgo the addition of a server and get a cheaper cabana. The water park itself was nice and clean and our kids had a blast. read more

Our family/friends/church has been going to this water park for years. We have always loved it until this year. It was over crowded they should set a limit. The lazy river was so crowded you had to walk elbow to elbow because there was so many people. There were two fights that happened after the second big fight we left. We rented a cabana which was nice but everyone kept coming and moving our stuff and trying to sit down. They need to have a reserved sign, chains, gate...something so people will know that is not for anyone. We had to take turns staying at the cabana so people wouldn't come in there. The lines for just drinks was an hour wait. We was really disappointed if we go back it will be during the week hopefully that will be better. read more

This is my second time in Geyser Falls! Although this is a 2 and a half hour drive from my home town its worth it! The park is clean, well decorated, not crowded, and fun. They allow you to bring in your own water bottles, unlike the other water parks. The workers are nice, funny, and honest! For example, we saw a janitor find money on a table and called the security who put it in an envelope and wrote a report and later the kid found his money, IMPRESSIVE! The only problem we had was the music was too loud!!! Overall GREAT experience!!! read more

I took my kids here several weeks ago. It was a very clean water park, the line waits were reasonable and the food was good. It was the first water park I have been in that I didn't even once smell urine in the slide lines. The lazy river was one of the best I've ever been in with the current being very strong and several waterfalls... kept it interesting. The only complaint I have is the place closed too early... there was still a good 2 1/2 or 3 hours of daylight left.... lets stay and have some fun. read more

The only reason I gave this 1 star is because 0 wasn't an option. Honestly, I have no idea how someone could enjoy this place. The staff are beyond rude and lazy, the park itself was dirty, and multiple areas had a very strong smell of urine. Several food and drink stations were out of many menu items and when I checked back 2 hours later they were still out. The staff acted like this was normal. When my friend asked for lids and straws for the kids smoothies the waitress told her she was annoying. I tried to eat lunch at the main restaurant and couldn't get a table. Not sure why since there were very few people there. We stopped by the restroom nearest the exit to change into dry clothes for the ride home and the floor was covered in soiled toilet paper in every stall. We ended up changing in a common area of the restroom and the kids had to stand on the benches to keep their feet clean. I can't really say I was surprised at this point. If you don't like to eat or drink and you like human waste and getting ignored by rude staff, then this is the park for you. read more

I wanted to be able to give this place more stars...it's fun and not super expensive for a water park, but the food situation is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen at any theme park. My husband and I got 8 people to come with us today. It was many of our first time here. 1. The website said they would close at 6 today. The board at the entrance said 5:30 and we got told they were closing at 5. Make up your mind and update your adversitments and website. 2. Many employees were not paying attention to people getting on the slides. Our group went back to back many times. At one point our first group went down the super bowl got stuck and the second group was told to go and ended up in the bowl at the same time as the first couple. Which cause a panic attack from one of my friends. It took a while to get her to calm down. 3. The alcoholic beverages were not alcoholic if it had alcohol it was a splash and we over paid for that. My friend sent hers back and still ended up with a beverage that tasted non alcoholic. Either sale alcoholic drinks without doubt there is alcohol in it or just stick to family friendly beverages.... The time thing really messed up my group. One of our friends was going to meet her ex to get her kids after 6 when the park was suppose to close. Instead we had to wait with her to meet her ex. I was there with my friend for her birthday and we were going to all ride this ride that is a 2 person ride and we had a odd number so my friends mom was going to ride alone and by all the tubes the was a single one that was supposed to go in the wave pool but was in the wrong spot and she asked the life guard "can I use this" and he replied "yeah go ahead" so she went all the way up to the top and the people up there said she could not ride with that tube so she walked all the back down and nicely said "hey they said to could not use this. Thought you might want to know that." And he said "I Never told you you could" and she said "Yes you did." And he replied "your a lier". She said " I just talked to you!" He said "I don't even remember talking to you" She said "what is your name" he goes "it doesn't matter." She said "yes it does what is your name" He goes "Jacob" and she said "ok Jacob" and turned around and walked away. As she walked away he says "Whatever." It another instance we where going on the Mt. Everwet slides and my friends friend was going to go on it but changed her mind cause she got scared she was walking out when I walked up and then she stood with me to see if she wanted to go. I went first on Nightfall and was going to meet her back up there so I could watch her. The dude up there was being very rude as she was sitting on the slide saying "hurry up, people are waiting, and are you gonna go." I told her she do have to go if she didn't want to" so she got up and walked down the stairs. After she walked away the dude said "your friend has come up here like 3 times, tell her if she is gonna go up there then she has to go. I shot him a dirty look, sat on the slide and went down. I wonder if I hadn't of come up if he would of push her down. On to the bathroom thing. My friends and I needed to go to the bathroom put we were going on a slide right after so we didn't get our shoes. We walked in there and it was so hot in there, it smelled bad and the was water, sand and soggy toilet paper in every stall. I hope I don't get toe fungus. About the slow service. My friends parents waited 30 to 45 minutes to order and get our food not because it was busy or cause they had to cook the food cause we all know it was cooked already they were just plain slow. The rides were fun and the lines weren't too bad, but the restaurant service was awful. We went to the My Tie Cafe, and ordered our food. After 30-40 minutes of waiting we were told that we would have to reorder. We did, and then we waited for another 30-40 minutes until we finally got served. Once we did get our food, they didn't bring us our drinks, so we went up to the counter where we tried to grab the attention of someone so that they could get us our drinks. One woman just ignored us completely, and there were three people operating one cash register. Out of the 9 staff that were present, only one was waiting on customers. The others were just standing around talking to each other. We ended up spending almost twice as much time at the restaurant waiting for our food as we did actually riding the slides. We drove from Tupelo to the park Saturday. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. We will never make that mistake again! Bathrooms were dirty, the staff at the entrance were terribly slow and uncaring, but the worst part was the "service" and I use that term very loosely, at the restaurant. We were told there was a 15 minute wait to be seated, which seemed about right. We stood on the hot porch waiting for 25 minutes when I finally asked about the several tables that were empty. After a huff from the hostess we were led to a table. We waited about 10 minutes and finally flagged down a waitress who reluctantly took our order. After a reasonable amount of time one (out of four) of our meals arrived. We waited another 20 minutes and the rest of our food was still a no show. Again I had to flag down a waitress and after about 10 more minutes she returned with some sort of excuse about the cooks having an "attitude". Finally the rest of our food arrived. I was a little upset by then, but at least we had some food, which was not anything special. I let the "manager" (again a very liberal use of the word) know how we had been treated. She left and came back with the excuse of a computer malfunction in the kitchen. We were told that because of our experience, we would receive a discount on our bill, but it take a few minutes to ring it up on the computer. After another 15 minute wait we finally got our discount, a whopping $5.00 off a $50.00 bill. I was so frustrated by then I had to leave and let my son pay for the meal. Given the price of the tickets, and how long we were detained in the restaurant I figured we had lost about $60.00. We will never try Geyser Falls again and discourage anyone else from making an expensive mistake by going there like we did. I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD! read more
