The staff are knowledgable and friendly, and half the people looking around are bona fide Apple lovers. I've been here twice now, once with a faulty iPhone - exchanged without hassle, and once with a expanding battery problem on my macbook - also replaced without hassle. So why not a 5 star rating? Well, there are two big problems in my eyes. 1) It's a pain in the arse to get a Genius bar appointment at a reasonable time (e.g. in the evening or on the weekend). 2) It's way outside the city centre and so is a bit of a pain to get to

They failed to diagnose hardware problem in my mom's iMac, which has a defect graphics card that…read morecrashes on a daily basis. They did not believe her description of the symptoms and simply returned her mac. This particular iMac revision has a gfx card that can be replaced fairly easily and I know that people in the US did just that to fix the issue my mom is having. So I visited the store to purchase a replacement card but the employee I talked to said that those parts are not for sale. When I insisted, he walked over to his manager to confirm. The manager rudely ignored me and simply said 'no way' to his staff then walked away. So I was told it's against their policy and I should go to a third party apple service provider to try my luck there. I love Apple and their products but in this store I experienced bad service even for german standards.
