I was attended by a staff who seems very impolite as he don't like to answer my enquiries, instead, he keep complaint why can't I read English notice which was pasted on the wall. I was trying to verify if I understood what I read from the notice. However, he seems not happy and frustrating even if I read notice and ask the question again. I tried to feedback him about my unsatisfactory about his service, he replied 'Fxxk-Off' loudly in the public. In addition, he don't provide receipt even I requested.

The Societe General bank was easily found by my Uber on a pleasant busy little street . Madame Pellerin spoke perfect English, as well as Russian, I believe, and was extremely knowledgeable and very professional in her job. Unfortunately I could not open an account as I am basically a tourist but she provided me with the materials and all of the formation if I were to try again. The lady with whom I live has been banking with them for many years and they already came highly recommended. The bank is very clean, comfortable and neatly furnished. I think anyone would be happy with this financial institution.

I found this company through tripadvisor, and since it seemed to be the only one that would offer short-term insurance, I signed up- a quick online process. I bought the insurance only because I had to, but then I ended up getting sick and needing a doctor. I paid all my costs up front and wasn't holding my breath for reimbursement, but I just received the check and after my 30eur deductible, everything was covered! Their customer service was great. I mailed in my forms and then was contacted by email- apparently I was missing a form from the lab. Their representative actually contacted the lab for me (I was having communication issues), and resolved the problem on her own! I wasn't expecting much but was really impressed. P.S. Though Yelp only lists the building, you don't have to do anything in person- just google the company name.

I was literally wooed to Credit du Nord many years ago while working for a production company that had an account with them. I had them on the phone almost weekly to deal with annoying wire transfers, faxes and confirmations. They were always super sweet and professional. My contact there offered to set me up with an account. I already had one at LCL but wasn't happy with them so I accepted. The experience was night and day. My new banker really took the time to understand my situation, which as a freelancer was not always the most stable, offering great rates and helping with last minute freak outs to transfer money from one account to another. My original banker there left a few years ago and it was tearful saying goodbye to someone who was so supportive and available to me throughout the years. My new adviser is really great too and is always available when I need her. Can't recommend this branch of Crédit du Nord more!
