Customer service? What's that?
I received a voucher valued at over $80 for a Deluxe Pedicure and Standard Manicure. I made a reservation for a Deluxe Pedicure and a Manicure, however when I arrived they told me I can only do either a standard manicure or a standard pedicure, as there is not enough time for both, not even for the deluxe pedicure. Quite disappointing as I had booked for both. After I had the standard pedicure done, I was then told that the voucher had expired, which was true and I had not realised that the voucher was only valid for 6 months, however, it had only expired 8 days ago! I had given them the voucher an arrival, but they did not tell me at that point that I have to pay for the pedicure and that they won't honour the voucher. If they would have told be at the beginning, I wouldn't have done the pedicure at all. After a lengthy discussion, I ended up paying the additional $35 for the pedicure as they couldn't understand the simple concept of customer service and that they wouldn't lose out on anything, as they had already received $80 for doing nothing. They now have a very upset client who won't return! Rest assured ALL of my friends, family and colleagues, many of whom used to frequent ggamji, will know all about my disappointing experience and I am sure they will no longer be buying gift vouchers from them. read more
