So disappointed. After purchasing 2 items for gifts (and having to go to the ATM for cash because…read morethe computer was down so card use was impossible) I tried to return them Wednesday, Jan 8 at 11 in the morning (during their business hours.) Just wanted store credit. They were closed. Upon trying again today I find out their return policy is a 2 week window and I have missed it. This policy is written at the bottom of the receipt, so I should have read carefully, but that's a VERY short window. And even if they were open when I tried to return it I still would've missed it. Lesson learned. I have shopped in this boutique many times and never questioned spending the money because the quality of the merchandise seems good. I will question spending money there now. Suggestion: when selling to customers, the 2 week window could be highlighted on the receipt ("this is our return policy"). That might have helped me.

The woman working (Rula) said as long as I'm shopping she will let me stay in and try on clothes (they closed at 6). And so she did. I bought a lot of cute things and Rula was just awesome. I had a riot chatting with her and had a lot of laughs. ~~~Rula if you see this, the dress zipped when I got home and changed into a normal bra! Yay!!~~~ They had a little rewards program too ... I believe $10 off after you spend $250 or more. This is all women's clothing and accessories. Actually now that I'm writing this, I think there was another side to the store I didn't see. I'll stop in next weekend when I'm back in town and update my review if there's more. But from what I saw, women's clothing/accessories including some cute coats and jewelry and hair clips. Candles and oil perfumes. Also there is a clearance area in the back!

The young man that assisted me was very kind and patient however, my first day of skiing was painful due to the boot being too tight around my calf area, even leaving bruising. Second day revisit for some assistance and he adjusted the calf portion, but still severe calf cramping, accompanied by bruising and feet pain. Upon investigating, I noticed the tongue area possessed a foreign object behind the padding, causing the issue. And the boots were just poorly fitting. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.

We discussed my skill level, type of riding , etc. . . In order to match me with the right set up. After thoroughly answering all my questions, they had me set up with a brand new board, boots, and bindings in a matter of minutes. Their genuine desire to help me find the right board was very refreshing and a welcomed change from some of the shops that I have walked into where the staff are sometimes rather arrogant. If you are ever near Holiday Valley, do yourself a favor and shop at this store. Ask for Spencer.
