If you're considering care for your loved one, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere…read more My mother was placed in this facility, and it was a nightmare from the start. The moment you walk in, you're hit with the overwhelming smell of urine. When she rang the bell for assistance, she waited--and waited. Yes, we understand aides have other residents to tend to, but waiting 45 minutes is completely unacceptable. Especially when that delay led to my mother falling--something that never should have happened. then to cover it and tell us that she didn't fall, because her bottom did not hit the floor stating she slipped out of her wheelchair per the nurses on duty, no report ever was written. Let's talk about the lack of basic care: they would take her to the restroom and not put her oxygen back on. We found it multiple times just lying on the floor--completely negligent and dangerous. But the final straw? She was left in bed all day long, struggling to breathe with pneumonia water in her lungs and a horrible UTI .I had to call and insist she be sent to the emergency room. Did they send her? They waited until my brother arrived 40 minutes later and asked him again if she should go to the hospital, as of today, my mother lays in the hospital fighting for her life. Our family is heartbroken and outraged. In our opinion, this facility should be shut down. We will be making a complaint and calling onbunsmen on them . Working in the healthcare system myself you bring your loved ones to be cared for not to be left in their bed struggling to breathe because of the lack of care our loved one received. Stay away from this facility! I would definitely rate this place a negative one.

I stayed at Emerald rehab for around 3 weeks after renal failure. There are both good aNDMO bad…read moreaspects to my stay there. First the good: most of the nurses there were quite capable and caring. Special shout out to the night nurses Osbaldo and Marie as well as the day nurse Evelyn who were all excellent and responsive. The CNAs there were just average with only one, Charity, being a notable exception. She was always working and very good to me. Some didn' t seem to care at all. The physical, occupational, and speech therapists were all excellent and dedicated. The dialysis department was outstanding with Sheyla being a delight. On the negative side, the administration was quite poor, rarely following up, getting things wrong, telling me something was done that wasn't, matching up very ill patients who need constant care with those who don't. Putting me in the wrong dialysis facility after discharge. Had to be changed. The facility does not make it a priority for patients to get a proper night's sleep, They come in at all hours of the night sometimes just to take out trash. Hard to get more than a few hour's sleep. The food service needs to be overhauled. Quality is poor, and more importantly the diets that were carefully detailed were not followed at all. As an example, I was on a renal diet that was restricted and was constantly fed off limits food despite repeatedly telling them in writing that the food was not appropriate. Access to doctors were limited. I only saw my primary doctor once in almost 4 weeks and that was after constantly asking. Once you could see the doctor they were quite capable and professional, This could be a higher rated facility but they need a lot of improvement in important areas.

Avoid this place at all costs. They have my 73 year old father in house for rehabilitation. He has been in this facility over a week and neither of my parents have any clue what's going on. No results, no doctor visit etc.. It gets even worse when I show you the food they actually expect you to eat. Who did they hire as the cook ? Homeless person ? The kitchen staff needs to be fired ASAP. Also the manager who let this be served. The only good thing I have heard is the nursing assistants are very nice and do a great job. Why has my dad not been given any of his test results ? Why are you serving food my dog wouldn't eat ?

NP/ chiropractor was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly!…read more Staff is very nice & east to set up appointment.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!! The only good reviews are from the adults who are at the adult…read morefacility, which are from years ago. Ambrosia requires 60k a month for bullshit treatment. I have never met staff so rude and disrespectful. One of the staff, Ms. Dezeray, one of the worst staff @ Ambrosia is a bully. She has said extremely rude things to not just me but my peers as well. Some of these things include calling the kids here a "bitch" or saying she hates us and her job. She also physically put hands on me and pushed me. The head director, Dr. Neal, was informed by multiple patients including myself and she says she will handle it but she takes the staffs sides and doesn't take any action. When I wrote an incident report for Ms. Dezeray pushing me, Dr. Neal threatened to blackmail and manipulated me so I wouldn't press charges. The staff do NOT care about your well-being whatsoever, to them your just a paycheck. If your kid is on the spectrum, do NOT send them here. Just ONE kid got beat up by the same boy several times and no action was taken. This kid was stomped on, pushed, and punched in the face. The food situation is terrible, they make it seem like we get 5 star meals, but in reality we choose between 2 options of food which even the staff admitted they would never eat. The catering company we get our food from had to add a label on the container of the food because nobody could tell what it was. Absolutely disgusting. If you don't eat the food, you are able to get ONE meal replacement a day. The meal replacements consist of 3 measly mozzarella sticks and that is either your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have witnessed patients having mental breakdowns crying, and the staff like Ms. Ann Marie will scream in your face. If you are court ordered to be at Ambrosia, you will consistently be threatened by staff (specifically Ms. Ann Marie) saying they will send me back to jail or call my judge about my "behavior" to intimidate me. If Ms. Ann Marie thinks you are lying about a situation/altercation, she will make up a bunch of stuff to try to get you to admit that you're "lying" even when you're not. Shes manipulative and narcissistic. Not to mention she comes to work dressed like a stripper everyday. When the kids here are being rude to peers/ being bullied, NOTHING is done. I have witnessed the Boys peeing in my friends face wash bottle and shampoo bottle. Dr. Neal and Ms. Ann Marie knew who it was, and no action was taken. The boys are favored over the girls. For example they get first pick for everything and staff personally buy them food and drinks. Not to mention that instead of getting 3 mozzarella sticks like the girls, they are allowed to get 5. Yet again, no action was taken. The staff are judgy and make you feel ashamed for being at rehab. Most of them are miserable and make you loose all motivation to get better. I felt if I were to report this back to my family, I would get time added at my stay at Ambrosia because they would constantly hold that over your head to scare you from sharing information to your parents. If you tried to report something they would tell you to change the subject or they would hang up the phone. Ms. Jess Blanca, Ms. Dezeray, and Ms. Ann Marie are all the reason to not send your kids here. You can get in trouble for something as small as laughing or smiling. The second they see you having an ounce of fun, they shut it down. Dr. Neal will make fake promises saying she will take us to the beach or get us Dairy Queen on the weekends, just for us to get our hopes up and have to stay in all day. They say we go out and do fun activities, but that is all a lie. The staff are extremely protective over the boys, they treat them like their boyfriends. PCA Ms. Nicole screamed at the girls saying, "STAY AWAY FROM MY BOYS!!". We also got banned from wearing leggings, when Ms. Ann Marie comes to work in the tightest leggings and her breasts basically falling out of her shirt. Like stated before, the staff do not at ALL care about your well being. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!!!!!!!
