Instead, they kept my dog in a cage for THREE HOURS without doing a single thing. I was called 3 hours after my appointment time to tell me he was ready for pick up but they only did a bath because there had been an "emergency" with the appointment before mine, and the groomer had to leave! So not only was my dog left sitting in a cage stressed out and confused, but no one even bothered to contact me. And the cherry on top? Management's response was a half-hearted, "Sorry." No attempt to make it right. No genuine concern. Just a brush-off. This is not how you treat animals--or your customers. I'll never be back, and I'll be warning every dog owner I know to stay far away from this place.

The store is nicely decorated and inviting, more of a living room feel than a pet store feel. Sometimes they have real live dogs in the store inside little gated areas. This review is for the vet side of Petco only....as I wanted to inform that Adam...office manager…read moreor whatever title he provides you is completely useless and cannot even answer simple questions....we took our puppy there a few weeks ago for some standard vaccinations and flea and tick medication...to which she had some negative reactions to days later....and we were very concerned...I called and unfortunately had to speak to Adam twice and I just did not feel comfortable with him at all....and he was not helpful or even understanding of our situation...our dog is like a child to us....he wanted to run up vet bills and kept saying her symptoms were most likely not related...so I asked him what steps they would take to diagnose her and the costs...and he could not even answer me...very strange....anyways...we won't be taking our dog back to such an incompetent business....he even took the phone away from the front agent named Cindy who was extremely nice and understanding... she is the one who represents the business well and shows compassion...Cindy is a tremendous asset to this company, but as far as Adam goes, they need to dismiss him as he is not a good fit for that role....
