Wow, talk about a fun park! Everyone there of all ages seemed to really be enjoying themselves. So glad we went!

This park is HUGE! We came here for a birthday party over the weekend and were impressed. They have so many sporting areas, a great huge lake for fishing, and a really envious children's playground. They have many ramadas available for parties and tables. So much parking also!

This such a huge park with many basketball, pickle ball courts, playground, walking path alongside a lake, concert area pictured and so much more. I love the sunset views! Love going for walks here!

Best park ever!! From pickleball, to splash pad, to the concerts they hold we love going here to relax. We've fished in the pond & rode roller skates around the pathways.

    Beautiful sunset location!

Great place to catch a sunset over the water and unwind - also lots to do at this park like: a beautiful walk, lots of grass, playground and other nooks and crannies!

I love spending time with my family and friends in this location! It is family friendly place that has tennis, volleyball, lots of land, a playground, and a place for fishing

Awesome Park and Splash Pad! This place is a really nice and well thought out playground! Long slides and unique playground adventures built into a hill. Great splash pad for the little ones on a hot day also! Lots of picnic tables and sitting areas. This place gets some serious traffic for good reason! Good job City of Gilbert!

This park is amazing for kids to burn off some energy. The splash pad is incredible, but don't get caught under the big bucket.! lol My littles love it here! And when they're done with the water, they have plenty of slides and climbing areas and swings! Gets them nice and tired for nap time!

A gorgeous and very expansive park located in Central Gilbert by that massive temple and San Tan Village area. Very beautiful. Huge playground, a large lake for fishing, and many trails looping around the park. Definitely a fun place to go to, wish it wasn't so hot out this summer so I could go more often. It's either go at early morning or early night or get burned alive.

This is our favorite park in Arizona! One of the reasons is because my kids Love the ziplines. It's big and has everything you could need in a park: playground, splashed, lots of covered ramadas, nice bathrooms, grass, hills, open field, fishing pond, walking path, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and dog park. The playground is multi level and has areas for all ages. The toddler section is in the middle and shaded and secluded from bigger kids. The only negative is that because it's so big and multi level is easy to lose a kid. Because of this I like going during the week when it's not so busy. Grab food nearby and hang out for a few hours! Make a day of it by grabbing lunch or dinner in cute downtown Gilbert and getting ice cream from Topo.

So many great trails to walk on and lots of little bunnies. I loved walking along all the different lakes.

Such a big park. Love the water area during warm days. Can get quite busy with families running around, but there is plenty to do.

Ask the Community - Gilbert Regional Park

    Fee? Park or parking

No fee for vehicle parking or to simply play at the park. There are pavilions that can be reserved, and those may be a different story, but I've never investigated.

Offers different signs to learn about wildlife and how to be safe. I came in early morning in mid-October and the weather was amazing. In the morning it was about 60 degrees. The park was active: people walking the trails, fishing, several people walking their dogs and there was a group of people with their dogs getting dog training classes. The park still offers plenty of space to enjoy your time outdoors.

Our favorite is going around the scenic loop around water, spotting the ducks, geese and the birds. There are so many exotic Birds specially during the spring, it's a sight. The wildflowers are beautiful and the large trees create a perfect canopy during the summer. We love biking and hiking too, this park has a cute little waterfall and is a favorite among photographers for shoots. There are programs offered in the community center for the kids for summer break and also activities with nature which is nice specially since it's involved with nature. There is also a nice display and tribute to the veterans with some installation arts. This place is worth a visit and wish there were some kids play structure to add to the beauty.

There's also a scouting activity area that looked interesting and seems to be for scouting troops to have campfires and outdoor activities. Technically there's also a hummingbird garden but unless you parked in a specific spot or know where to look, you'd miss it as its small and tucked in a far corner. While small, it is nice (aside from the pile of cigarette butts some jrrk left) with some nice plants, a short walking path, and a water feature. It has a lot of desert plants but I was surprised not to see more spring flowers this time of year. The park is nice and the water seemed clean and not smelly, but I wish we had more areas of denser vegetation like the hummingbird area to walk around in. It does seem pretty well kept up and I noticed several newer desert willows growing. At 8 am on a spring Sunday, it was busy with people walking, fishing, at the playground, and doing tai Chi, but parking wasn't an issue.
