This building now houses a legal firm. I cannot review their legal abilities but I can thank them for preserving this unique piece of history, the building itself! It was built in 1873 and preserved to this day! It's the original B&O Railroad station which helped facilitate travel for the small but growing number of people in Rockville. The design style is called Victorian Gothic and was designed by B&O's architect, Ephraim Francis Baldwin (1837-1916). In 1975, thus unique, beautiful building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, it was moved 50 yards to the south to make room for the new modern Rockville Metro Station.
