Upon walking in, I completed my profile on an iPad and soon after the hygienist came to get me. I loved that she opened the packaged of dental tools right in front me. Comfort in knowing the tools were cleaned and not in someone's mouth right before mine. They give you shades to protect your eyes from and spray and ask you what you'd like to watch on the tv. My hygienist was very kind, soft spoken and informative. She took time and answered all my questions. She was gentle and thorough! I also did some xrays- quick and easy, nothing gouging in my mouth. There is NEVER a wait (I have been here three times in the past 2 months, both my friends have had appointments, and there have never been any waits for longer than 5 minutes) 2. They have ODA pricing which is what most dental plans will cover. Despite the fact that this office is in Toronto, there is no random other superficial up-charges for normal services. (This was the main reason I initially chose this dentist). 3. They do an excellent job! My teeth were cleaned really well, the hygienist (who's name escapes me, but she was fantastic) was so friendly. They also run specials and promos (I got my annual exam and teeth cleaning and they threw in a free whitening session). 4. Appointments are super easy and correspondence is super quick! Their secretary Stacey does a great job to help fit appointments in ASAP and at times that work for you. 5. They have after work and weekend hours! The office is nicely decorated and has lots of stuff to occupy while waiting. I've had a couple dentists after settling with Dr Jennifer. She's very nice and has great bedside manner. All of the hygienists are personable. Fees are pretty much average. Doesn't take too long to get an appointment. They offer reminders by phone, email & text. Direct billing to most insurance companies however they will no coordinate benefits for you. The patient pays still has to pay the dentist even though they submit the claim on your behalf. They close early on Fridays. Open 2 evenings a week. All & all a great staff, great service. Will be sticking with this office.

Why do dental clinics claim to be good for nervous patients when they are not. Please be honest…read more It's impossible to get an honest review on anything anymore so here is one for you. Kingwest Dental does not care for nervous patients with care. They refuse to re-do my nightguard (one of the reasons I switch dentists was to get the 3D tech for the nightguard production) as it does not fit. They don't care, they already got their money. My teeth hurt. My coverage is only for one nightguard (obviously) and they wont help. The last cleaning I had the woman gouged me and also put the blood and plaque on my shirt and in my hair and was pretty mean and rude to me. I felt afraid halfway through and my neck was hurting so I asked for a rest. She typed on the computer with the same gloves she was using to go into my mouth. It made me feel sick. Finally, I'll say that I specifically noted that I need female clinicians (i'm a survivor of violence, which I shared in confidence) and they didn't respect that .I guess they found it amusing to see me panicked as the male dentist came to check in on me on my second visit. I gave them one more chance after that and that is when I got butchered and covered in gunk. Super nasty. Very disappointing.
