Gina is incredibly meticulous and organized--she really takes the time to understand what's going on and explains the process clearly. The treatments helped not only with post-surgery inflammation, but I later came back for an additional session focused on nerve regeneration on one side of my knee, which was also extremely beneficial. The facility itself is spotless, calm, and very well run--exactly what you want when you're recovering and healing. One thing to note: parking is pretty rough, so definitely give yourself extra time to find a spot. Gina is the best when it comes to acupuncture. I first reached out to her when I had a really bad sprained ankle and needed to get better for a volleyball tournament in 3 weeks. Fast forward to last week, I hurt my lower back from lifting and felt a small pop. I have previously injured my back and had a 6mm herniated disc that I received an epidural for. This review is long overdue and I can't recommend Gina enough. I called her in 2023 after a series of failed fertility treatments. I was hopeless and didn't expect much but gave her a try after a phone call with her.. she just seemed really caring and optimistic. She had me come in for some acupuncture and an evaluation, prescribing me a 1- month supply of Chinese herbal medicine specifically for fertility. After taking it, I noticed my period in my next cycle was better. I took another 1-month supply of herbal medicine and I noticed a significant difference in my overall health and periods. I didn't have any cramps, all the dreaded period symptoms were minimal compared to before and I could tell I had better blood circulation with less clotting. Throughout the year I continued my treatments with her but was unable to get pregnant naturally. As I started another round of IVF, I decided to get help simultaneously from Gina. I wanted to harness eastern medicine to support the medical process. Throughout the whole process, I got acupuncture (needles and moxa) which supports circulation, warms the body, helps with stress, brings your body into balance, etc. Before my egg retrieval, I took herbal medicine which she made specific for egg quality. This is a long overdue review. Back in the winter, I had gone to Gina to see if she could give us Chinese herbal medicine for my husband's sweaty hands. She gave us all the drinks in nicely packaged pouches. If you've never had this before, just know it smells and tastes bad. It's not chocolate! So I forewarned my husband but it's better than going the surgical route. My husband drank his medicine twice a day till it ran out. He wasn't always consistent bc of schedule etc, but it definitely helped his sweaty hands. A couple days after he stopped it came back. So we did a second round which tasted even worse haha. But my husband sucked it up and did what he had to do. I felt like his body temp overall was "cooler." Before, At night, his body would heat up like crazy, and sweats. After the second round his hands were not sweaty for a while. Even now, his hands can get sweaty when he gets nervous but overall there's been such a huge improvement. Your body has to sweat, it's not going to stop, but there's definitely a "normal" amount of sweating vs profusely sweating and dripping. I thought it worked well enough, that I also made two out of three of my kids take the growth medicine. Of course my kids hated it, and I bought mass amounts of candy as a chaser after drinking it. The bribery worked most of the time haha. I don't know if they grew from the medicine or just normal, but anything to help. Really love Gina! I fell down and went to the ST Jude emergency in Sept. 2020 where I was diagnosed with Vertigito. Pursuant to follow up consultation with ENT DR, it was confirmed again as Vertigo and was told that it is difficult to cure it and received a prescription medicine . Recently in Nov 21 Vertigo symptoms occurred again and I took prescription medicine at that time, but it did not work for a couple days. My son, who is now 15 years old, started playing club basketball at an early age. He never had an ankle injury...until recently. He sprained his ankle during a basketball tournament and his ankle swelled up quite a bit. Since it was his first time, I didn't quite know how to best treat it for the quickest recovery possible. Of course we iced it and elevated it. But then I remembered that Dr. Gina did acupuncture! I called her up on a Saturday and she graciously said she could see Ethan that same day!
