My wife had a field day in there! Definitely worth checking out. The Goodwill section of store is same as others although there was a musty/old odor throughout the store. So, the fact that Annabel was able to find many different dresses that fit my curves very nicely was a nice bonus! When it comes to pricing, it can be pretty expensive. However, she even pointed me in the direction of another dress that was 50% off and it was this gorgeous shade of purple that went beautifully with my skin tone. Now, to me, it was between two dresses that I really liked. I left to keep my options open, but like I said previously, I came back. This time, I came back to find some gorgeous earrings that went with my new outfit. The girls even told me I was welcome to try on my new dress I had just purchased from another store to see what it looked like with the earrings! There was a young girl who was helping me find some dresses to wear for Carolina Cup and although she was nice to me, she clearly didn't know my size as she pointed out many different dresses... which brings me to my next point. My only issue with this place is that they didn't carry many dresses with sizes in a 10 or higher. There were only two dresses I saw in an 8 and the majority of them were in a size 4 or lower. As a curvy woman that is top heavy, who wears a 12, or a large, this was disappointing for me. Out of the three dresses I tried on, I was pleasantly surprised that one actually fit my body type very nicely, but I wanted to keep my options open since the dress was fairly expensive. They accused my kids of messing things up, knocking things over and not picking them up when it was another older lady who made the mess. Fortunately, my ten year old has more couth than the lady working and was kind enough to pick up the items knocked over by an elderly customer with a walker, EVEN AFTER being accused and spoken to unkindly. I was very proud of her. I wish I had heard the other interaction between this hag and my daughter. I was planning on purchasing quite a few candles and car fresheners, but after I heard her and another customer speaking poorly about my kids (WHO WERE SITTING ON THE FLOOR AND READING A BOOK by the children's corner) just because they were not in their plain sight, I decided that I would never support a business who very clearly needed to give their issues with discrimination to The Lord. I kindly returned the items I was going to purchase back to their shelves and called to my girls and they put their books back nicer than they found them and we left to spend our money across the street. I understand what it's like having bad experiences with children when you're a business owner. I understand not appreciating unruly children. But my girls in no way were unruly, rude, or destructive in the least bit. I normally would have just let it go if it were just me, but my kids? Man, you pissed me off. There was no subtlety to your accusatory approach. Just pure ugliness. Over here lookin like homemade sin. Proud of my kids and how they handled themselves. As for the workers? Take it down a couple notches. Your store is subpar at best.
