When my son in MD was able to get the doctor's name and contact him, he was not happy that we had his phone number, but he did refer my husband to a hospital, where they said he had had a stroke and he died shortly after. I was furious that they had refused to call a doctor. I contacted Mike, as you suggested. Mike never spoke to me directly, instead Susan Pollock was my contact. She asked for all kinds of paperwork, including 200 pages of hospital notes, which I sent her immediately, along with a lot of other information on his history and events leading up to his hospitalization. Time went by - I called periodically and was told they were discussing it but had not yet decided whether there was a case or not. Then Susan went on vacation - more time went by. Finally they decided they did not think there was a valid case. She said something I didn't understand about something like the level of salt in his system which was in the hospital notes.
