We ate at 11 a.m. when they opened. The crablegs were "out of the frig cold". I told the waitress and she argued that it was because I had a big crableg. The smaller ones were hot. I told her no they werent. They were all cold. They then took the legs from the bottom of the pan (closest to the steamer) and put them on top. Said see their hot. They came back and said they now have hot ones. I told her I wasnt going back for more (my brain was thinking food poisoning). Not an apology or even an offer of a small compensation. read more

They're alright. Idk what the people saying the food is cold here be doing but they keep the food hot. At least during lunchtime, the only time I come. Maybe it's an issue in the really off hours, but you can't blame a buffet for having colder food when they're trying to close shop. You actually do get some service here. Their coating for the General Tso's and sesame chicken is sometimes soggy but the rest of the food is pretty consistent. The interior is kept pretty well. I've been to Chinese buffets throughout Massachusetts, NH and upstate New York and by far, this has been the worse one to date. I tried the calamari and it was inedible. While I was there, I went to the men's room and found feces on the walls! The place hadn't been cleaned in a very, very, long time! Can you imagine how filthy the kitchen is? Does South Carolina or even the county have an actual Board of Health??? It doesn't appear they do, but they should and the first restaurant to check would be this one. I cannot recommend eating here until drastic measures are taken to ensure food safety and personal hygiene. read more

The food is delicious especially the hibachi grill. I get takeout and spend $200 or more per week for myself and my son. The owner who's typically at the register is so kind and welcoming. The young Asian girl at the front register IS EXTREMELY RUDE. She doesn't greet you or smile or speak or helpful. I make it my business to walk in and say hello and say thank you once I pay and have my take out bagged. She doesn't greet you or say anything at all if she's not on her phone on FaceTime. Whenever the owner man is at the register he is attentive and makes sure to bag any extra sauces in the proper containers so it won't spill in transit. She will hand you a bag and you'll have to ask for anything you need which asking her for anything it's like you're bothering her. I have been visiting this restaurant for some years even before the new owners took over and the name change. Today is Monday Oct. 14, 2024. The chefs on the hibachi grill are Mexican and don't speak English. They are all very kind, patient and caring. I have a lot of patience and kind to everyone. It upsets me anytime I visit and she's working but today she was extra rude and makes me feel like not spending my money there because being kind doesn't cost anything especially when you're working with the public. read more

We normally go to Tokyo grill off white horse rd or new China buffet off Wade Hampton in Greer. Not anymore! We went back on Thursday. Two times in one week! All you can eat buffet that serves crab legs! They have over 200 items. Hibachi style chef is available as well! They have sushi! Here's the thing that was great! They are super clean and they restock the buffet bar constantly! The price is not high due to the fact they serve seafood and sushi. That alone is worth the price. Staff was nice a bit of a language barrier but nothing to complain about. The bathrooms! Super clean!!!! Everything was super clean!!! They do have a $5 charge for uneaten food. Which I like because I hate wasting food. I have young kids and this helps me drive that point across. Thumbs up!! The only thing they didn't have was the homemade Hot mustard which is my favorite thing to eat with Chinese food. I do not like the packets. New China Buffet has it. This has been my go to spot for takeout ever since the location opened in Rock Hill. I've also visited the Greenville location, which is just as stellar. Casual and clean, the restaurant is well-staffed to handle the large crowds that come. Since I've been so many times, I now have a set list of menu items I eat on a regular basis. The fried fish is my number one go-to along with the sushi, egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, pizza, fried rice, sesame chicken, and my new love if I'm dining in is the hibachi bar. This is under new ownership and it shows. Nice improvement in quality of the food. They have added a steam bar with dumplings etc that are really good. Big and stuffed dumplings! Staff remain friendly and prompt. The hibachi grill now has vegetables as well as meats and the sushi bar has a nice selection. For a buffet this is top notch. read more

Happy to see another buffet take over this location. As long as they keep up with the cleanliness and fresh hot food they won't lose customers however the last place started great and took customers for granted - food and service went downhill and eventually we stopped going - gave this new place a shot and yes it's more expensive but the crab legs make it worth it. Wish they had more options for hot veggies besides green beans - it would be nice for spinach and broccoli but maybe in time. We went on a Friday evening. The wait was very quick (maybe 15-20 minutes?). The restaurant looked clean and the staff were very friendly. Everything on the bar was very fresh and fully stocked. They have many varied items so there is something for everyone. The big hit for everyone seemed to be the crab legs. And then the bill was much lower than I expected. For two people to eat, we paid $45. I had expected a buffet with so much seafood and crab legs to cost twice that. The server was so kind and we left feeling very satisfied, saying we would definitely come back again. We are from Anderson and even said we would rather come to Greenville for this type of buffet than to stay closer to home. Went there for lunch. There were a lot of selections but not as much Chinese as I had hoped. There was pizza (didn't look good), macaroni and cheese (was ehhh) and French fries and chicken nuggets which don't hold up well on a buffet line. I get why they have those items for kids but would have rather those been more Chinese options like orange chicken, cashew chicken, etc. They had a cute little dessert section but the rice Krispy treats tasted stale.
