Was hoping to try out the many vegetarian options they advertise from the website only to be disappointed and after consuming the cheese wonton I later find out they had imitation crab The restaurant setting and decorations are nice the food is well looking however when walking around you can see several of the display tags mislabeled missing and unorganized To confirm if a vegetable sushi roll was actually vegetable because the (tag was swapped) I had to yell over to two gentlemen sitting on the floor with AirPods laughing to their phone to get their attention behind the food to ask for help I understand they may be tired but sitting on the floor? Waiter was nice tho she confirmed with the chefs when I took a bite Manager then explained to me they don't have many veg options ???? Why would website say other wise then Aside from the the basic fried rice , noodles and everything was pleasant but lost my appetite after that interaction

Our 1st time at this place, actually our first time at a Japanese buffet ever. We were really excited to try it but.... Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience, the food not all good , we tried everything and only a very few things were ok, the sashimi , the nigiri, the spring rolls and ribs were ok , the rest not so much. The service was good , ambience ok , it was clean and had a nice people. Sadly 2 of the 3 people that went got sick the next day....my husband and I got sick, we are certain it was the food of this restaurant because that was the only meal we had the whole day.

ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI!!!!! It's good quality, you can see the sushi chefs making the rolls there as you take them. They also have hot foods too, the normal noodles, rice, chicken, ribs, dumplings, soups, salads. Dessert bar is a must, lots of flavors and mini cakes. Always solid for Lunch and cheap for AYCE. Service is quick and attentive. Sushi is really good for being a buffet.

Looks really be deceiving, not good despite how it looks in the photo. Service was good though! Chill vibes, but would recommend elsewhere.

I Last night I went to South Beach and spent over $100 on just three drinks. Today, eating at this buffet feels like winning the lottery! First of all, the restaurant is elegantly decorated and looks very new. The food presentation is beautiful and well-organized. The variety is impressive, and everything tastes delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian and meat options, and the desserts and ice cream are absolutely tasty.

Pros: 1) very nice place; 2) clean Cons: 1) my waitress was slow, I had to find her to ask her for a drink, my dirty plates was on the table; 2) No sashimi on the lunch time; 3) Too many tasteless sushi; 4) too expensive for this quality of food

Accidentally stumbled upon this buffet restaurant while in the area for lunch and was presently surprised. Their location is excellent and parking is easy. Upon entry the hostess will seat you and your server takes your drink order. You can then help yourself to an array of foods which includes salmon and fish dishes, meats and vegetables and a whole sushi bar. Out of everything, they get an A+ on the sushi bar variety. The presentation was stunning and the options included sushi rolls that I've never seen or tasted before and they were made with great taste. The food itself was great especially the general tso chicken and lo mein. For dessert, you can help yourself to the desert bar with fruit options, freshly baked goods and ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience considering it was just an on the whim decision.

Miami sushi will never be New York, San Francisco, or Japan, let's be real, but this is easily top three sushi in all of Miami for me. The key is non-negotiable, sit at the bar and do the omakase experience. They offer omakase at $50, $70 and $90-ish dollars, which is kind of wild when you consider the quality, the pacing, and how much food you're actually getting. Every piece is thoughtful, beautifully composed, and genuinely exciting to eat. Yes, a few bites lean a little saucy, that's my only critique, but the quality of the fish itself is insane, clean, fresh, and handled with real respect. I believe some of the owners are Peruvian, and you can feel that influence in the flavors and the way the dishes are presented. It adds personality without overpowering the fish, which is exactly how it should be. The experience overall is a straight 10 out of 10. If you keep kosher or avoid shellfish, this place deserves extra love because they offer kosher-style selections that don't feel like an afterthought, which is huge and honestly rare. That alone makes it a standout. One tip I'll give you, and this is important, sit at the bar and do the omakase. I can't really vouch for the rest of the menu, though I'm assuming it's solid, but the bar experience is where the magic happens. Right now, nothing compares to omakase here at this price point. Blind Tiger is special, and I'm saying that knowing full well I might regret exposing it.

Started with what I would consider sushi appetizers before the nigiri. I felt they were relying more on sauces in those dishes- but still solid. My favorite was the "tower" that had a cucumber base, nice chunks of avocado, topped with raw fish. There was a nice Unami flavor with truffle. Truly amazing. The nigiri was fresh- with some fish being preferred over others. Also, they had soy sauce on side so you could add the amount you want. Overall all the nigiri was good except for the shrimp Was my least favorite out of them all. However, I enjoyed each nigiri and trying fish I don't usually get. The last Sushi item was a hand roll. They then served miso soup which I thought was out of place in terms of order. Maybe should have been served first. The dessert in my opinion wasn't good and seemed store bought. In their defense, I am not much of a sweet person. I would have much rather had another sushi dish. However, one thing to note is that with the dessert - they did not give all parties the same type of treats. Therefore, we were a little disappointed when we didn't get the fruit tart and the chocolate macaroon. For drink I got a Japanese vodka drink (can't remember the name) that had a hint of wasabi. Wasn't spicy but you could taste it. The passion fruit mojito was so much better though and actually was part of the main restaurant. Servers were nice! Ambiance was really peaceful and cozy vibe. Sat at the counter thinking we would be able to watch the sushi chefs but instead just saw their heads. Would have been nice otherwise.

We started with the hamachi, which was beautifully balanced with truffle-ponzu, jalapeño, wakame, cucumber, carrots, masago, and just the right touch of heat. The spicy edamame with chili garlic sauce was addictive and came out hot and perfectly seasoned. For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy Joy (shrimp tempura, chopped crabstick, tempura flakes, topped with avocado, yellow chili sauce, and eel sauce), which had such a satisfying texture and flavor combo, and the spicy hamachi roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and well-executed without being overpowering. One of the surprises of the night was the salmon burger with fries -- genuinely so good. The salmon patty was juicy, the avocado portion was generous, and the dressing tied everything together really nicely. We also tried their ramen, which is new to the menu, and it did not disappoint. The broth was deeply flavorful and comforting, with a soft-boiled egg, edamame, and mushrooms. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. We finished with the biscoff cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and inviting, with a lovely outdoor patio option as well. Overall, this place feels like a true neighborhood gem -- great food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely be returning.

This has been one of my top go-to spots to bring my family, so it was disappointing to have a different experience this time. We ordered a variety of dishes, including some of our usual favorites. I got the spicy edamame, which unfortunately seemed a bit overcooked--the beans were much softer than I prefer. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that ended up being mostly breading with very little chicken inside. I also ordered my usual salmon teriyaki, but this time the sauce tasted overcooked, almost burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. I even had my daughter and her boyfriend try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and they both agreed. That said, not everything missed. The service was amazing. My daughter liked the miso soup. The Crunchy Joy roll (I believe that's the name) was very good, and the deep-fried pork gyoza was amazing as always. Overall, I was very disappointed since this place has consistently been one of my favorites. I'm hoping this was just an off day and that my next visit is back to the quality I'm used to. This is the reason for my three stars.

Everyone on the staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. The Happī Hour menu stands out as one of the best values in the area. I had 2 Classic Mojitos, Shrimp Cocktail, Lumpia Shanghai Roll, Pinoy BBQ Skewers and Kurobuta Corn Dogs from the Happī Hour menu. From the full menu, I had Salmon Tiradito, and the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode for dessert. Standouts for me were the Salmon Tiradito which had a beautiful presentation. It comes plated like a work of art with gooseberry, fresno chili, annatto oil, mustard oil, sea salt, white nikirisoy aioli. Wish I had taken a photo. This is the only place I ever order corn dogs (and I ALWAYS order them here) which are made with a Japanese sausage and come with a special spicy mustard that gives it an interesting, gourmet kick. Don't go heavy on the mustard if you're sensitive to spice. Hot! I am told the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode is inspired by the owner's son, and it is magnificently-plated and delicious. This is not the campfire version of S'mores. This is the haute cuisine version. You cannot beat Sushi Bichi on quality of food and experience for the price, especially during the Happī Hour which runs 4-6:30pm. You can walk onto the beach after your meal, if you'd like. It's right there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Parking tip: there is a large public lot on Collins Avenue around the corner that I've always found a spot in. Short walk to Sushi Bichi.
