Very disappointing experience at this Toy Story shop in Civitavecchia.
My daughter was quietly looking through a stack of small toys, trying to choose something she liked, while I stood right next to her browsing a backpack for her. When two other customers entered the store, the staff member suddenly became visibly flustered and seemed suspicious, repeatedly looking back and forth between us and them as if we were going to steal something.
Without any polite warning, she rudely yelled at my daughter to stop touching the toys. These were small interactive water-ring style toys meant to be handled so you can choose the one you want. I calmly asked how a child is supposed to choose a toy without being allowed to look through them, but instead of explaining, she became defensive and rude.
At that point, I decided we would not be making a purchase and began to leave. The situation escalated further, and I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Overall, a very unpleasant interaction and not the kind of customer service you expect, especially in a place that caters to children. read more
