Wow!!! My family and friends ( a party of 23 ) had a delicious , scrumptious and outstanding buffet lunch at the Giordano's of Orland Park, Illinois today. All the Appetizers, Salads, PIZZAS, Pasta dishes and deserts were fresh and extremely tasty . The left overs were also scrumptious when I dined on them later. No other Chicago style pizza compares to Giordano's. Call it nostalgia for my first Chicago pizza experience, but I also haven't had anything else that tastes as good as they have here. We got Parmesan fries with a garlic aioli, a fabulous starter! I ordered a frozen chili mango margarita, it was good but very sweet, and kind of a lot. The bartender overfilled it so I got a lot more than expected, which I won't complain about! We ordered the double pepperoni deep dish pizza, and holy cow was it good. I could only eat a piece because it was so thick and full of cheese! Be prepared for waiting 30-45 minutes for it to bake, but they tell you ahead of time so it's expected. read more

Food is usually good but seems like every time I order a delivery there is a problem. One time it went to wrong house. When I called they asked me how I wanted to handle it. Other times (many) it just takes forever. The time they post when ordering is inaccurate by over an hour consistently. When I called to check status it seems like they are just getting started on the order. Minimum 2.5 hours to get a pizza. By the time it arrives, it is usually pretty cold too. I get it that it gets busy but I have never seen delays like this from anyone else. If you're ordering here, plan way ahead. Correction and update. 3 hours had to call twice just to find out they don't know where the order is. Offered to make button and send it again. Hilarious. Business model is flawed. read more

All three were delicious as expected. We also had the Giordano's Samper for an appetizer. It was good and was enough for all of us. There were 4 adults and 5 children in our party. The beer price was a little high at $9.50 per glass for a tall. They also charged us a $4.28 surcharge as well as an 18% service charge. At no time were we informed of these fees. The service was friendly and a reasonable speed. The environment was clean and comfortable. I always liked this franchise but this is the first time for us at this location. read more

Love the new additions. We had the honey Calabria chili wings, and they were Very tasty!! First time having the chicken sausage on our pizza, and it is very good too. Our server was fine. We arrived within 15 minutes of the pizza time and it was hot and ready for pick up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pizza was perfection. When the fam's busy and dinner time is coming, pizza is always a great choice. We tried to order from a different restaurant - and that night was Giordano's via UberEats. I choose the standard Chicago classic deep dish - and I was expecting okay but it was really good! My only thing was the crust could have been cooked more buuut they do offer that option to extra-cook the crust (which I will do next time). Great food and service. Went for the second time in about a month. This time we had Eddie/Lalo. He was a very attentive server. Just on us often, made sure the kids were good, had refills without asking. We did get the calamari again and it was rubbery. Second time getting it and it was not the best. I have not had a pizza from Giordanos in many years. I decided to try it the other night. I found the deep dish with sausage to be almost inedible. Way too much cheese, only bits of sausage and the tomato sauce on top was minimal and most of it burned out and dry. Never again. Not worth the money. I am so happy they were open on Easter Sunday! I wanted to buy some pizza to take back to Cali as gifts for family and friends. My sister-in-law also wanted to try their pizza out, so we ordered their special, to have for dinner prior to our flight home. This is the second Chicago deep dish spot that I got to try and Giordano's did not disappoint. Their fresh made pizza was delicious. Their marinara sauce was really good. The only thing I would have them fix is to add more meat and less onions and peppers. We didn't get a chance to dine-in, so we didn't get the full experience, but the take-out experience was great! The gentleman that gathered my frozen pizzas and gave me my order was very nice. They only thing is they forgot to give me the paper plates, utensils, cheese and peppers that I requested when I placed my order. They included cooler bags with my frozen pizzas, so that was really cool. What happened??? I had lunch on Tuesday this week and was looking forward to some great pizza. I had been here before several times for pizza for dinner. What went wrong: 1. Zero atmosphere 2. ordered personal pan pizza - sausage and mushroom. It had ONE big mushroom + 2-3 pieces of sausage. 3. our table also ordered a Greek Salad....big plate with small amount of greens, couple of olives, some red onion rings, and 2 pieces of Feta cheese. That was $12.... 4. we needed to order a personal pan pizza to-go and waited, waited, waited for our server. Finally, we saw some guy who worked in the kitchen and placed our order with him. Ordered what Giordanis calls a starter salad, which costs $10. Pictures included. I was shocked at the size, which was not what was shown in their pictures! And don't ordered your dressing on the side, because you won't get that. The worst part was the "fake" chicken. And of course the 3 percent up charge even if paying cash. Next time I'll head to Buona who has real chicken and a very generous salad for the same price, and no Sur charge. When we walked in the person who seated us seemed to be confused as to whether he would seat us or if someone else. We stood there for about a good minute before he decided to come up and seat us. He then proceeded to sit us at a crumby table...a table with crumbs on it and the seats. My mother and i got up to move elsewhere but noticed ALL the tables were crumby. We called him over to clean it and he removed the plates and silverware but left the parmesan and salt and pepper and sprayed all over everything. I don't put parmesan, salt, or pepper on my pizza so that didn't bother me but thought it was strange that he did that. another family came in and he sat them at a crumby table. One woman took her sweater and brushed the crumbs off the seat but the waiter was called over to clean the table. Again, he removed the plates but left the parmesan, salt, and pepper and sprayed over everything. Awhile later another family came in and they too were seated at a crumby table and had to call someone to clean the table. I don't know, maybe crumby tables are a thing at this location but it was a turn off for me. Waitress was ok. She wasn't bad but she wasn't bubbly and cheerful...just ok. Pizza was GREAT!!! the leftovers were GREAT!!! SInce I was the only one eating pizza, it would have been nice if there were an individual size. One slice was enough for me which meant the entire pizza was gonna last for 6 meals. My biggest recommendation...clean the tables before seating people instead of forcing us to sit in someone else's crumbs. And don't spray cleaner all over everything. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch early dinner. Of course I had to have jeepers pizza. However, small is too much and although I enjoy leftovers, it's never the same as eating at the restaurant so this time I decided to get an individual and an order of bruschetta. What I didn't realize was that until 3 o'clock they have a lunch special, which is an individual pizza that includes a house salad. My server automatically gave me that so I had plenty of food. I was pleasantly surprised with the salad. It's a salad of mixed greens, shave, fennel, and shaved asiago cheese with their house made vinaigrette, which is unlike any Italian. I've had before it's light and very tasty. I truly enjoyed the salad. The pizza takes a little while, which is a good thing because it shows that it's not made I had a time they're made to order, the Rochetta was good. I ended up bringing home most of it for large pieces with a nice and generous amount of the tomato chapping with fresh mozzarella. When the pizza arrived, it was the perfect size cut into four sections little mini wedges. As for the service, I had the nicest server unfortunately I did not get her name and I wish I had because she was outstanding. I was alone and she checked on me regularly kept my water glass full out whatever I needed. I inquired about the salad and she gave me some chips about one if I wanted to order to take home because I really enjoyed it and would order it for carry out several different sizes so we were discussing that I want to emphasize the great service because nowadays often times you just don't receive it again.
