I've had the pleasure of knowing the teachers and staff of giralda preschool for over 6 years. My niece started as a student back in 2020 and left to start elementary this year, during her time there she loved everyone the staff was always kind and they always have so many great activities for kids. She started elementary reading almost at a second grade level. Fast forward now my son is a student here he has been there since he was 10 months old. He is currently 18 months old let me start off by saying everyone here is great but the infants teacher Ms. Rosa is a literal angel sent from god, she made the whole process so much easier for me she answered all my questions and my son who is no longer in her class is still obsessed with her. She genuinely loves her job and loves all the kids as if they were hers. I'd also like to mention Ms. Evelyn my son is obsessed with her he has learned so many new things being under her care & Maite his current teacher as well. Evelyn always answers any questions she's always happy to see him and is always updating me on his progress. & last but definitely not least Ms. Marian there isn't enough words to describe what a great person/ teacher she is she is a literal ray of sunshine, thanks to people like her and everyone else who works there I have no doubts or worries while my son is at school. if you're looking for a school that genuinely cares about your children and is academically excellent then this is definitely the school for you. read more

As first-time parents, my husband and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this preschool for our son, Matthew. From the moment we enrolled him, the staff made us feel supported, guiding us every step of the way through this new chapter. It was reassuring to know we weren't alone in figuring things out, and they've been so attentive to both our needs and Matthew's as he navigates his first experiences in daycare. The school keeps the kids excited with frequent, creative activities that teach valuable lessons beyond the basics. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making learning fun and meaningful. A special shout-out to Director Elvia, who truly goes above and beyond for every child and family. What also stands out to us is the amazing community here. During drop-offs and pick-ups, we've met many hardworking, professional parents who are clearly dedicated to giving their children the best. Our daughter attends CGP and we could not be happier. The teacher to student ratios are the best we found in the area and the teachers in our daughter's classroom are experienced, organized, calm, and nurturing. They really understand infant development and everything they do is tailored to the ages and capabilities of the children in the classroom. Doing the basics well - eating, napping, exercise - are always top priority and the teachers have helped our daughter get on a schedule. In addition to the basics, they have a bilingual program, they do art projects & read, they have special sensory stimulation (playing with sand, smelling citrus fruits, etc) and they work on gross and fine motor skills purposefully - our daughter is already clapping and taking turns with toys. The school is run incredibly well. The administration pay attention to every detail - no matter how small - and always put the children first. It's so comforting to know that our child is safe & cherished by her caregivers. My husband & I both work so the fact that preschool is open until 6:30 PM everyday is a plus for us. And they are a year round preschool so they are closed only 7 holidays a year. They do not close for teacher planning day or professional development day. read more

I enrolled my then 7 month old at Giralda Preschool in December! It has been an amazing experience so far! When he first enrolled, he didn't take a bottle, and the teachers helped us get him used to the bottle. By day 3 he was taking a bottle easily! It took about a month but my baby got very used to the routine and has a regular eating and napping schedule both at daycare and at home. Best of all is he loves his teachers. Now when I drop him off he dives into Rosas arms and doesn't even think of me until I pick him up! It feels good dropping him off somewhere he is loved and where he loves his teachers. The teachers are very accommodating and keep the school very clean! I watch Franklins daily progress on the app and often get to take home pictures and activities my son participates in! The school has an age appropriate curriculum for every class and the teachers are experts. read more

Our experience with Coral Gables Preschool has been amazing. Before we enrolled our son, my wife and I toured different centers and none really felt right. When we arrived at here we were given a tour right away and our son was allowed to participate in the finger paint activity the class was doing. Our son, who is a year old, doesn't really go with strangers but the teachers were enthusiastic he immediately connected with them. He has been enrolled for about six months and we have not complains. They have an open door policy and we are able to pop in and check in on him whenever without announcing ourselves. We are so happy we have found Coral Gables Preschool! Coming from a teaching and social work background, my standards were extremely high for any school I would consider placing my child. I toured all schools in the area and never had the welcoming home feeling as I did when I first walked into Coral Gables Preschool. Things I noticed first of the school: the cleanliness, the children were engage and happy and the teachers and the teachers also appeared happy. This would be my son's first experience in a school setting and the staff have been incredible supportive and nurturing to both, my son and myself. I am very happy we chose Giralda Preschool for our baby boy. The staff and teachers are all committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. We love that our son is exposed to different aspects of learning through sensory and play. The cleanliness is also a plus! All my questions are always answered in a timely matter. I see the love my son has for his teachers and how caring they all are with him. This is his 2nd year and we have all seen how much he has learned and how he is meeting all his milestones. There is nothing but good things I can say about this preschool. Every staff member in this school is the most hardworking, kind, and loving you'll ever meet. The school is bilingual (Spanish and English) and they do an amazing job at teaching their children while having fun too. They have cameras, which is very rare in most schools in the Coral Gables area. Their flexible schedule (from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM) gives me ample time to drop off and pick up my child while working a full-time job. My child always refuses to leave and we couldn't be happier. read more

My daughter has been attending Coral Gables Preschool for a little over a year and a half, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. The environment is warm and nurturing, and they have the best team of teachers. In a short time, my little one was chatting up a storm, singing, drinking out of cups, sleeping on a bed and using the bathroom. I have had a great experience with this school so far. I send both my kids here. The owner is very accommodating and she takes great interest in making the school a great place. The director is also great. The teachers are doing a good job in taking care of the kids and they are learning and involved in a lot of activities during the day. I get to see a lot of artwork. My godson attends this center and he loves waking up to go to school. The teachers are very qualified and extremely helpful. My godson is exposed to sports, music, and art. They also make sure he always eats his food and nurture him in more ways than one. You can tell all the teachers love their students and are working with their heart. My daughter absolutely loves going to school. She started daycare at 10 weeks old, she is now 20 months and we have loved both rooms she has been in! She actually doesn't want to come home sometimes.
