When you check in, you'll find oranges and honey waiting for you in your room, which can be used with the electric juicer in the kitchenette for fresh OJ in the mornings. They have a rooftop indoor/outdoor patio with a spectacular ocean view. There isn't any food or drink service up there, but you can bring your own snacks and use the coffee maker. The location is fabulous too, as you're central to loads of great places to eat and drink. We decided to extend our stay there because we loved the area and the hotel so much. It is more B&B style, so you need to schedule your checkin/checkout, but they're super responsive, very friendly, and their English is excellent. I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough.

Maybe it's different in the summer vs winter? Breakfast was part of the stay package. It wasn't a cheap continental breakfast, they went all out. It was a resort. The price staying here was comparable was to airbnbs in the area. This was so much more worth it. Complimentary drinks at the bar, valet and access to the spa and pools were also included. It was a bit away from town in a residential area, but if you have car it's not a problem whatsoever. If you compare to South American resorts, there's no beach, but there are cliff/ocean views nearby. I was definitely consider coming back here if I'm in Algarve.

People like them SHOULD be in…read morethe hospitality industry because they radiate warmth and keep you coming back (and convince you to bring all your loved ones :D) The hostel itself has a great location-- it's about a 5 minute walk away from the city center and about 5 minutes from the closest grocery store. It's about 10 minutes from the nearest beach and 15 minutes from the bus station. Rooms come with sheets, blankets and a towel (which most places charge). I'll definitely be back in the summer. I came in January which is during their off season. Weather cooperated for the most part, but even despite the rain, the Algarve is a wonderful place to visit.
