The Hotel has beautiful gardens that are being well taken care off. Personel is very friendly. There is a small private beach with lovely view at the bay and a small coffee bar with two terrasses. It seems that the hotel has expanded it's number of rooms. The two pools (kids and 18+) haven't got enough sunbathing chairs so guests are getting up early to claim some chairs. At 8:00 am all chairs are gone. Food and drinks are free with the all inclusive concept. Breakfast, lunch and diner are wonderfull with lots of things to choose from and chefs cutting meat or preparing other recipes at the counters. Portinatx is a wonderful hotel for couples and families with children. I've seen English, Dutch, German, French visitors. Internet is poor - the free wifi at the entrance as well as the paid version (18 euro pweek pgadget)

The receptionists were approachable, friendly and efficient. The room, indeed the whole of the hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The restaurant was comfortable and the food OK, nothing special, but then we were staying all Inclusive. The bar was open from 11.00 to 23.00, and a wide range nge of local drinks - wine, beer, spirits and cocktails - was available (as well as soft drinks). Two gripes: the beds and the sofas in reception were very uncomfortable, leaving us with backache: entertainment was limited, with short shows on just three evenings a week. On three days we had rain, and, with no entertainment children were left to make their own amusement around the hotel which did not make for a relaxing time. Would we recommend this hotel? Yes, given it is listed as a three star hotel, you get what you pay for.

The only downside for me was the room layout and bathroom. The resort is very large, so depending on where your room is, the walk can be pretty long especially if you're on the pool side. Also, the shower door didn't fully close, so water leaked out everywhere, and the shower area didn't feel as clean or polished as I would expect for a hotel at this price point. The level of incompetence, disorganization, and sheer laziness on display here is almost impressive - you'd think it was some kind of social experiment on how bad a hotel can get before guests riot. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted not with warmth but with chaos and indifference. Check-in? Hours of waiting for the room you booked in advance. Room service? Nonexistent. The mini bar? Stocked with half-drunk bottles, and yes, they'll gleefully charge you for them anyway. Their restaurants serve food so bland and low-quality that calling it "edible" feels generous. Breakfast looked like a health inspection horror show, filthy, unsanitary, and clearly handled by people who've given up on life. The staff? A masterclass in rudeness and apathy. Ask for your room to be cleaned, and you'll get attitude, eye rolls, and maybe even a verbal lashing from housekeeping. And if by some miracle they do show up, don't expect the bed to be clean, ours had hair and actual blood stains. When we reported it, they refused to fix it. Refused. The water in the tub looked like it came straight from a sewer. It's not just unpleasant, it's unsafe. Whoever manages this circus should be ashamed.
