The new owners as of 2017 spent time to really highlight the history and it shows. From their website: Built in the late 1800s, the Post Office, located right next to the famous Moss Vale train line, linking Sydney to the Southern Highlands, was the main official building of this small town. ​ It played a vital role as it delivered mail to its inhabitants as well as provided constant communication between the city and the area to visiting governors. ​ It stayed as a Post Office for over 100 years. The inner decor incorporates industrial style stools, with one long communal table, and benches, plus tables and chairs, and fabulous natural stone walls and wooden shutters give a dash of French style.
