My 5th grade niece has been enrolled since she first started school and has always excelled. My nieces lost their mom and 1 year old brother in the North Texas storm. This has been a major life change for the girls. The principal Mrs. Hill and my niece teachers showed up to the homegoing service to express their condolences. The school had been a huge support. The girls live with my husband and I in McKinney. Garland ISD transportation has made arrangements to pick up and drop off girls to our Mckinney home until the end of the school year to assist in some sort of normalcy. The transportation guy was a retired Pastor and loved the girls and they loved him as well. Hill also gifted my husband and I with books to help with grieving and raising. One of the books is called 5 love languages of Kids. I'm blown away by the support and love. We are so grateful.

When I discovered the issues, the school refused to take accountability, correct its errors, or remove the inaccurate information it placed in my children's educational records. I have now had to contact the Texas Education Agency, the U.S. Department of Education, and my local congressman just to address these serious concerns and fight to have the school's inaccurate documentation removed from my children's records. No parent should have to go to these lengths to get a school to correct its own mistakes and protect their children's educational files.

This lady spit on the kids threw books in their faces and wouldn't allow them to go to the restroom when they were just 6-7 year olds. My brother wet his pants multiple time, as well as other children there. Because they just couldn't hold it any longer. It's sad to see these types of people are being hired to "care for children". Children from his class came to our house to let us know this was happening to him the worst. The teacher threatened to punish the children of they ever told. He was terrified to go to school. My mother went up to the school but no one would help since at that time Spanish speakers weren't avaliable to translate. Eventually she was "let go" but it's was years later. This woman belongs in prison for torturing children for all the years she had been working there. Why are these people being hired and no one says a thing when they see it? One main website is YouTube, in which some kids need to watch videos for certain classes, yet it's banned for them.
