However, when we tried to use our gas fireplace a few weeks after the roofing job, it wouldn't stay lit. We ended up calling out a fireplace tech who found that the wrong (non-identical) cap had been placed on the chimney. It cost us around $400 to order a new cap and pay for two service calls. We contacted Luke at Dingers and he promised to "make it right." However, he is currently ghosting us and not responding to the invoices we have sent him. If you use them, be prepared that they will likely not stand behind their work. Very frustrated.
