First, our group wasn't expecting what we walked into. The place is very clean and has a nice feel to it. Our hostess was a gem and of course, I didn't get her name, but when I finish, I'm sure she'll know she is. We started with the antipasto and the garlic bread. My stepmom was with us and she is very tough to please! She loved the garlic bread as my wife did. I dug into the antipasto, and it was great! The main courses for us were all kabobs and wow! We had the chicken and the ground beef with rice and vegetables. The food was incredible, but the lunch prices blew us away! Three of us for under a 100 with an appetizer. That's pretty good! The dress code is casual, and it seems a collar is appropriate! I would assume dinner which starts at five, might be dressier! Lunch is 11-3. Once again, an overall incredible first experience, and the best part, they serve both Italian, and Mediterranean. Next time we try the Italian. Thank you again!! read more

I really hate to write this review because I love this place and have been frequenting it for years. The food was good and the service was good, but they stiffed me. I ordered the chicken kabob lunch special and asked to add a Koobideh kabob for an extra $4.00 (which was on the menu as an add on). I confirmed that with our server. I got the bill and there was a charge for $8 for the add on so I and questioned it. The waitress talked to management, and brought back a new menu showing the add on as $8. She said when she gave me the menu "I didn't switch the menus, I promise". That was a bold faced lie. Unfortunately I took it out of our waitresses tip, I only gave her 15%, should have been less but I didn't want to stiff her for managements cheapness. It might have been an old menu , but that's not my problem it's theirs. They should have honored that. read more

Terrible service, owner or some short lady was rude and gave my table promised to me to someone else. Then kept us waiting when tables were open but they said it will take us 25 minutes to clean the table because we are busy. Just rude and arrogant. I expected the food to be great because I assumed the food must be incredible for the management to sport such an attitude, but no. Food was below average and waitress was MIA most if the time. I would not go there if it were the only restaurant in town. Actually I think it is the only restaurant in the area. Nevertheless don't waste you time and money. read more

The service and place were pleasant and friendly. The quality of food was ok though extremely salty. We asked our waiter to inform the chef about saltiness of the food. We were told this has been a common comment from customers but unfortunately no step is taken to address it. I could not finish my food bc of its saltiness. Not sure what happened to Giuseppe's. My family used to love coming here at least once sometimes twice a week. Since COVID the service has dropped to mediocre at best, the food quality also dropped...it isn't bad but not the same. What did it for us was the last two times we came had hair in the food...once as our waitress was serving it. She saw it took it to the back, removed the hair and brought it back...that's not cool...get us a fresh plate, it's only a salad. Sad to say this place is now a NO NO for us. This place is normally a go too for me, but holly carp was tonight bad... Placed a to go order over the phone, they said 40 min. I arrive 45 min later, and the don't have the order ready. Hell they didn't even know what the order was! Now I had to wait another 15-20 min while they fix their fuck up, and other people are all walking out with their orders and no issues. A San Antonio Heights gem. Recently moving up here from the LBC, reluctantly trading in all my favorite urban hole-in-the-walls for fresh air & greener pastures, I braced myself for a little cultural stagnancy. Fortunately I was quickly humbled & bemused at the discovery of this eccentric Persian-Italian restaurant with epic food reflecting the snow-peaked mountain grandeur from their foothill view. The Fesenjan chicken is my favorite. The rich pomegranate sauce and ground walnuts is reminiscent of a great molé sauce. And of course, the kids love the pizza. Adding to the irony and charm is Giuseppe's 1/2mile proximity from the new pad in our little remote part of north Upland. Im hiking everywhere else; why not here. read more

A great experience! A very nice seating area with amazing food! As soon as we were seated, we were served warm pita bread with butter! Yum! We started off with the Hummus & Eggplant. The best I've ever tried at any middle eastern restaurant! For our meals, we went with the Koobideh Kabob and Shrimp Alfredo. Both with delicious! The kabobs were soft and flavorful. The Alfredo sauce was great and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. We ended our meal with Turkish coffee and Persian ice cream, both excellent! Will definitely be returning! PS: They have a cat that walks around inside where you are seated. For anyone with cat allergies, be aware and possibly call ahead to see if they have a way to accommodate you! read more

The worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. We ordered at 630pm and it is 815 and only half the food has come out. The waiter has no idea whose food is who's and the other half of the food has yet to come out. We are a large party but there is virtually no one else in the restaurant. We are offended and will not be coming back. read more

FINALLY made it out to this restaurant, I had been wanting to come for sometime. And I will say I am beyond impressed. Sarah was our server and she did an amazing job from recommendations on the appetizers, to the entrees, and even the dessert. She was very attentive and friendly. The Turkish coffee is by far my favorite thing here and that alone gives it 5 stars. The plates were Freshly made to order and the atmosphere was perfect. My daughter loved their pizza while my husband, son, and I enjoyed an Italian dish. We will be returning soon to try their popular kabobs. Great place to try some Mediterranean or Italian dishes. My favorite is their chicken kebabs and koobideh kebabs. The rice that's comes along with them is very aromatic and flavorful as well. This was my third visit here. My second time at dinner. I decided to try the antipasto salad. The menu says ham and salami, etc. I did order the small because usually antipasto is gigantic. All the other dishes we have tried have been large portions. So my salad arrives and it is pretty darn small. There is not a speck of ham to be found anywhere. There were 3 slices of salami cut in half so 6 half moons of salami around the edge of the bowl. That's it. There were plenty of olives and mushrooms. Taylor and Mo have served us a few times now. They are both attentive and the service they provide has been nothing but superb. When my kids have gotten a little squirly they have brought crayons and paper which the loved. We never had to wait long for anything. With servers like them, Guiseppes is in good hands. I am a fanatic about Mediterranean food and this is the authentic kind! The Italian food is good too. My husband loves the Eggplant or sausage sandwich, but the lasagna and pizza is tasty too ! I mainly go for the chicken kabob plate or the Greek salad! And must have the yogurt with garlic ...too die for with the pitas! This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Upland. Each time family comes from San Diego this is where they want to eat. Friday 6/24 we arrived around 8:45 and waited forever for the waitress to take our order and even longer for our food. The food was so disappointing. Nothing we ordered had its usual deliciousness. The kobedeih was dry and without that lovely buttery flavor and same for the barg. My young niece ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and it was dry. We ordered Tadiq and it was so very oily not buttery and it really had no flavor. It was as of they tried to make it last minute instead of saying they were out. I was truly disappointed in our dinner especially since I spent $117. I'm going to try again but maybe not so late at night even though they don't close until 10 pm they obviously had already checked out. read more

This is a quaint family owned restaurant in the woodsy hills of upper Upland (hmmm, is that how it got it's name?) with a tiny parking lot, a fascinating menu, and possibly an identity crisis. Is this an Italian or a Persian restaurant? Happily, it does both cuisines quite well. Kabobs, Koobidieh, and Fesenjan, a Persian chicken stew cooked with pomegranate molasses and walnuts, are interestingly delish and worth coming back for again and again. So it was hard to ever stray from the Persian selections. But I finally broke down to try the eggplant parmesan, and was equally in love. This chef seasons his food with love. No boring, bland food here. Italian, Persian, I'll take it all! This place makes me happy on many levels, the drive up Euclid is a step back in history, the air is fresher, the pace slower, the easy-on-the-wallet prices for a really good meal, and then the aromas of well-seasoned foods that hypnotize your senses. This is my new favorite Restaurant in the Inland Empire! Located at the very top of Euclid Ave this hidden gem has the best Italian & Middle Eastern Fusion Menu. Mr. Mack and his staff make you feel like you've traveled overseas and entered a Restaurant in Italy I ordered Salmon and it was Devine! My co-worker ordered the Kabobs.. Delicious!
