Trying to be a savvy and cost-effective businesswoman often leads me to doing things on my own, even things that would require men or professionals. One of these would be painting my props. I have zero knowledge on paint so imagine just how elated I was to find a paint center that was not just near, but also had pleasant and very helpful staff.
I would go there, tell them what I need to paint, what material it is, the size and the quantity, then they recommend the kind of paint and the amount of paint I should buy. This has happened on three separate occasions and I must say that I am dumbfounded at how their estimate is always on point and accurate. They would also give me advice on treating the material first so it would turn out to be more cost effective or less labor intensive. I feel like they don't just sell me stuff to make money, but really care about the quality of the output. They recommend even up until the kind and size of brush or roller that I can use, which is beyond remarkable because they really don't make much from me anyway but serve me very well nevertheless. read more
