This place is too touristy for me to order food from it (one of my top rules in Europe is to not order food from a restaurant geared towards tourists because more often than not it's inflated prices with less quality) but I did come here for the great scene, building, and beer. The micro brewery is the oldest on in Graz and the beer is just fabulous. Literally one of my favorite beers in Graz and almost all of Austria and Germany and a can't miss. *Great anytime but from the last Glockespiel dance (6:00 I believe) to dark is beautiful with the lights and the atmosphere. They have PORK schnitzel that is very delicious and reasonably priced. But for the purists, this is NOT real Wiener schnitzel. That would be made of veal (no arguing, this is my review so :P). I loved it especially for EUR11. read more

A good place to go if you're a tourist. The Austrian dishes are traditional, the beer is from a microbrewery and the waiters and the building itself have that Austrian-Bavarian-vibe you're probably looking for. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Only reasons I give it four stars is because 1) Five stars would be THE best restaurant there is. 2) The prices are rather high for the amount of food you get, and doesn't really taste better than some cheaper restaurants. While in Graz for three days this was my favorite restaurant and my girlfriend and I ate there twice the same day. The Beef Soup with Pancakes (Rindssuppe Mit Frittaten) is simply amazing, we've had this at every restaurant on our Austrian journey and this was the best yet. My girlfriend had the Cheesy Pasta/Spatzle which is also amazing; other entrees were Goulash, Chili Cheese Sausages, Brewery Plater between lunch and dinner. The Goulash was good but we did have better at a place in Vienna. All around great food, good service, and great beer. read more

One of the few places for traditional Austrian food, Hausmannskost. Good choices, seasonal menu extras, good beer selection (more than just the market standards). Service is good, can be slow when the place is crowded (especially in summer) but they are still very polite. read more
