When we decided to buy in Flathead county, we wanted a realtor who worked hard, was responsive, took our desires and constraints into serious consideration, and was an expert in the local area not only in regard to homes, lots, covenants, etc but also knowledge of the many other aspects that matter. We wanted someone with knowledge about the schools, the local businesses, the potential future growth, and someone who would fight for a deal. Possibly most important of all, we wanted someone kind and honest. This is experience should be fun and exciting, and trust is a must. We contacted several realtors, and none seemed quite up to par. And then, we discovered Sarah at Alpenglow Realty. Wow, Sarah not only fulfilled every expectation we had, she brought insight and expertise we didn't even know we wanted. We were difficult clients for Sarah. We expected a lot, and Sarah delivered. In our specific situation, and you may be in one similar, we were not able to travel freely due to Covid. Well, covid is not a problem for Sarah. She went above and beyond using the latest technology to show us listing after listing and make us feel like we were there to see each one. He provides key insights to the local market throughout the process; he knows what is a minor issue; what is a potential problem; and everything in between. His knowledge of construction standards were particularly helpful to us, as we made our purchase remotely and didn't have the opportunity to view our preferred homes until after he did. Dave was kind enough to give us remote, curated FaceTime tours of the properties. His commentary during these tours were spot-on and exceptionally useful. We couldn't have made the purchase without them. Dave also has sound judgment with regard to the transactional aspect of the purchase. He made several seemingly innocuous decisions that turned out to be pivotal in our ability to get the home we wanted. For example, Dave decided to shorten the amount of time afforded the seller to respond to our offer. Although we didn't know it at the time, this turned out to be critical; within 30 minutes of acceptance, the sellers received another offer -- and several more flooded in after that.
