Poppycock I say. BS. Rubbish. I will now tell you why. I spoke to a girl working here when she was doing my pedicure and she was actually a UQ Accounting student, another lady has 2 kids, works part time to get some extra income. They are everyday people just like you and me. They all just happen to be vietnamese.. maybe it's a trust issue. The owners seem to be family friends with all the girls working there, who cares. It's like a kebab shop run by greeks. Come on people let's not be so narrow minded. Anyway, I've been coming here for years, seeing I live in Mt Ommaney and they wash and sterilize their instruments just as much as the other nail place, they scrub down their pedicure stations after every person and they are pretty damn professional and friendly. So yelpers yelp not here. It is a great place to get a manicure and pedicure for $40. They do quite a good job with acryllics, it's no wait, walk in and get serviced and judging by the repeat customers who come in droves requesting for a certain girl, they do pretty good repeat business too. I can't speak for the other franchises of Professionail, but this one is pretty good in my Yelpinion. Which is worth its weight in Yelp.

Today I went in and a different girl did my refill and charged me $50 for a refill! I politely said that normally I get charged $35 and she just was not having it. I understand they were very busy and she wouldn't want to be standing talking money with me but that is not good business. Being spoken to very loudly by somebody in very poor English while a full salon watched is bad business. How embarrassing. I will never go to another Professionail again. :(

I was a bit dubious at first when Rejuvi opened up. I was thinking, great another beauty place…read more.. there were already a couple other ones in Mt Ommaney shopping Centre already. Then I decided, why not try it out. The prices are on par if not cheaper than your Pure Indulgence and Ella Bache, which is great. The rooms are just as good as your top beauty place, clean, uncluttered (i'm looking at you plastic flower on the bed that serves no purpose!). It smells nice. The beauticians don't use that fake light voice to talk to you, they are people! Tick tick tick. I had a facial there and an eyebrow wax another visit, and both times they have accomodated me without an appointment. Plus! The lotions and serums they use are all scientifically developed by a chinese guy in the US. They are designed to contain less crap and more real stuff (in laymen terms). They also have pretty good pricing on the lotions, you'll get a strong UV30 sunscreen for $30, for the potency it is, you don't need much and it lasts a longer time. Yelp! what a deal! Anyway, girls are pretty, guys go there too, they do make up and pierce ears and cosmetic tattooing to boot. I highly recommend trying this place out. Well worth it.

My mum, who lives in the same area as my friend, recommended Rejuvi - she speaks very highly of the women there and the quality of the treatments. So even though I haven't been myself, based on her say-so plus my experience with buying a gift certificate remotely, I'm giving them five stars! The lovely lady I spoke to on the phone was able to process the payment with no drama, and then wrote out a gift certificate and popped it in the local post for me so that my friend will get a nice surprise in the snail mail. Thanks so much, Rejuvi!

He got a lollipop and a special chair to sit on, and although is was suitably scared out of his little truck socks, they did a great job of making him feel comfortable. They gave him his first super hair cut, they also put a lock of his hair from his first hair cut in a little satin bag with a ribbon and a first hair cut certificate. They were quick, professional and Narelle the owner was very good with kids. Although the location is pretty hidden away in a daggy set of shops, they deserve a mention because every mother needs a good hair cutter for her kids. They also do a lot of beauty and nails, pretty much your one stop beauty shop. The salon is clean, cool and has a range of products on sale as well. If you're in the area, definetely check them out.
