Having been told by the owner that the logs would have to be ordered from the manufacturer, Grand Canyon Gas Logs of Phoenix, Arizona, I was expecting to hear something about the status within a few weeks. I made several telephone calls...including voicemails...hoping to get some information about my order. My phone calls and voicemails were ignored. On January 3rd, 2019, I went to Ledbetter's office and spoke directly to the owner of the company. He told me that the holidays and cold weather had delayed my order, but that he had "spoken to the manufacturer specifically about my logs", and that they were to be shipped within a few days, if they were not already on the way. However, his demeanor and attempts to steer the conversation in another direction caused me to be suspicious about the truthfulness of what I was being told. So, I sent an email to Grand Canyon Gas Logs inquiring about my order, and included a copy of my paid invoice and my phone number. Literally, within 10 minutes of sending the email, I received a telephone call from a representative at Grand Canyon Gas Logs, who confirmed that there were absolutely NO orders pending for me or Ledbetter Brick, and that Ledbetter Brick was NOT in good standing with their company. And, although Grand Canyon Logs are listed on the Ledbetter Brick website, the company told me that they are no longer an authorized dealer of Grand Canyon Logs, and are no longer listed as such on the Grand Canyon Gas Log website. Luckily, I had placed the order via my credit card, and was able to dispute the transaction and obtain a refund (after having to wait 45 business days for it to be finalized, as Ledbetter never responded to me or my credit card company in an attempt to resolve this matter). In my opinion, I was simply mislead when I placed the order, and again when I followed up in person on January 3rd, as I have substantial evidence that my gas logs were never ordered, much less scheduled for delivery. Money up front plus zero communication plus no merchandise totals up to a very bad experience with Ledbetter Brick.

I am going on 70 years old and I am disabled I came to Lowe's to get some lumber. I needed about 12…read more2x4 studs but they will not fit in my Toyota Corolla so I asked if they could cut them down to the sizes I needed which would be 20 cuts their are like 6 male workers and the guy who is waiting on me said that he would have to ask the manager if he could she came over and said that he couldn't do it. That they would rather have them standing around doing nothing than let him cut them for me. I have been on their loyalty rewards for over 20 years. That and I was going to spend 2-3 hundred dollars on stuff that I was going to pick up today but now I know that they just don't care

Lowe's is a much better organized store than the other big box DIY/hardware store with the orange…read morecolor. I do go to the other store more often out of habit as they are really close to each other in Brenham. Since I mostly live in Houston where the closest Lowe's is an extra 15 min drive, I end up going orange. However, when I am in Brenham I do like to go to Lowe's as they often will have the item you need, for the same price, and easier to find.

I replied "yes" but that I had a North Texas phone number. She tried my number, but it didn't work in her system because she hast to go to a specialist screen to access phone numbers out of the south east Texas region. She refused to take the extra step to access that special screen and simply rang up my purchase without giving me credit that I was due since I am a loyalty program member from Dallas. I will save my receipt and bring this matter up to management the next time I visit the store! Lazy sales people at this store!

I order 100 ft. 10/3 Gray Solid CU UF-B W/G Wire. Paid $260.93 with Paypal. 2 days later I get a email that HomeDepot went back to Paypal and increased the total to $264.60 Now I know that is only $3.67, However the add on was done after the transaction was closed. Now I am wondering if I need to spend the time and check my in store purchase to my bank statement to be sure they are not changing the total after I leave. (or stop shopping there and go to the blue store) I think they are hoping that most will not do so because a few dollars here is not worth ones time to check one Credit card against the charges When I called their 800 # it took me 4 times (put on hold 3 times for over 15 min) to get it taken care of...Like they want to make it not worth your time to fight it
