Inspired by the friendly review in Lonely Planet, we came here for dinner and had a fine meal. Three of our number were thrilled by the entree of oysters caught up the road just hours before they ate them (not my cup of tea but my wife and our friends Ian and Suzanne pronounced them the best oysters they had ever had). I like my lamb chops and Ian said the eye fillet was superb. One knock -- our Kiwi friends who have very sophisticated wine tastes were disappointed by the wine list,. Nice desserts, friendly service. Certainly this was a good night for us. read more
