I have tried unsuccessfully to get someone to come and look at it. I have called 3 times and believe I am reaching a call/answering service because I get someone different each time. The company that answers say they are Seamless Comfort LLC. It is the same number I called when my flooring was initially installed so I don't know why it is different now. I always receive the same response, "technician is scheduled to arrive today at 'such and such' time but no one ever shows up. I drove over there today and they were closed but the website says they are open. I paid a LOT to have this flooring installed and I trusted this company and the representative, but now feel cheated. I had intended to purchase carpeting from them as well and am glad that I have not. I will NEVER use this company again for ANYTHING!! It is absolutely impossibe to talk to anyone on a local level, your call is sent to a call service. I would NOT recommend them at all!!

Just want to say they treat customers better than the big box stores. Often have hard to find…read morescrews and hardware. Not the best for power tools or the cheapest vs. the big boxes but local staff and much better at loading heavy stuff. If just need a few items, saves in gas normally over a trip in town even if cheaper elsewere. Also grocery store upstairs means you can often kill 2 birds with one stone too.

I think a lot of us in the area went into…read moremourning when St. Paul Builders closed, and though we understood the desire of the owners to retire, we worried about losing a hardware store locally, and we worried about the employees. I did, anyway. So it's wonderful to see two familiar faces when I go to Hometown Hardware. This store is smaller than St. Paul Builders, but Steve and Jerry are quick to order anything you need. I wanted some DAP plaster-of-Paris powder, and it was waiting for me the next time I went in--and at a good price. Steve and Jerry are professional, accommodating, and also very nice and friendly. I predict that Hometown Hardware will become as much a local institution as St. Paul Builders was. And I very much appreciate that I don't have to drive a long way just to pick up hardware and supplies. The location in downtown St. Paul is extremely convenient.
