They even loved the assessment the very first day, which to me looked like a test! The teachers and director do an amazing job making math fun. My kids love the motivational incentives they can earn, and really work hard for the incentives. There's nothing rote or boring about the way Mathnasium teaches math. Their program has helped my kids learn to think more mathematically. It's not like a typical tutoring program, where my kids do their homework with another adult. I can do that at home! Ms. Dolly has always stayed on top of timely communications with the parents about Komon's teaching methodology and the kid's learning progress. At the same time when she helps all the kids, she has also been a great mentor to all the parents. When I asked for a normal invoice, they refused -- and instead pushed for a credit card over the phone, which felt completely unprofessional and frankly sketchy for a business that should be operating with transparency. Customer service was no better. Every interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, with zero effort to resolve concerns or operate like a legitimate, organized service provider. At this point, the entire setup feels unreliable, disorganized, and far below the level of professionalism any family should expect. It is sketch at best . I would strongly caution anyone from trusting them with their time, money, or child based on what I experienced.

I followed every piece of advice, completed all the assigned work, and put in the extra effort outside of sessions. I'm a hard worker--I don't expect results without putting in the work. But after all that time and money, my score did not improve at all. The tutors were friendly, but the strategies they taught me were no different from what I had already learned on my own. There was no personalized approach, no real effort to target my weaknesses, and honestly, it felt like I was just going through the motions in every session. For a program that promises score improvements, this was a complete waste of time and money. If you're looking for real results, I strongly suggest finding another program. Elite Tutoring Place did nothing for me except drain my wallet and leave me frustrated. The owner will respond to this message claiming I never attended Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton as he did in my google review. Regardless, I did attend Elite Tutoring Place in Wheaton, and I find it concerning that he claims not to have any record of me. I showed up, did the work, and stuck to the program as instructed, yet my score did not improve at all. Nick- Instead of dismissing my experience, maybe take accountability and consider how blaming the student for not following the program correctly when I did everything asked of me is not a great look. I am so happy with my choice to attend the Reading Tree program. I had other friends in similar ACT prep programs with hundreds of students being taught by very few teachers. The intimate environment really made me feel that my success was a primary goal to the program.
