Luckily we've moved now so I don't have to have any urges to get flowers for the missus. The shop itself is fairly small but they have a few arrangements out. If you like you can browse the catalogues they have to see what you want. This is especially necessary for wedding and funeral needs. We got all our wedding flowers, button holes etc from here. You have to park on the busy street outside or walk the long way from the town to visit here but it is worth it as they are very nice and helpful and not particularly expensive. Appearently the council are putting up a blue plaque on the building as a famous spiritualist used to live here or something.

I was told they were going to be closing shortly but would be happy to deliver first thing on Monday. When I explained how desperate I was to get these flowers to my family today and explained my circumstances there was no hesitation to oblige. The flowers arrived just after 1pm and I have been told that they are wonderful. Thank you so much for your great service.
Sutton Flowers

It may be over a century old, but the flowers at this pitch in the heart of the city centre are as…read morefresh as fresh can be. The blooms and bouquets from here are radiant and fragrant and always bring a smile to my face on even the gloomiest of Brummie days. This is an ideas stall. This place invents lovely combinations of flowers to give as gifts, and seems to change the bouquets designs daily - just to keep things as fresh as its flowers. However, it also does the classics perfectly. How many Brummies have heard the words 'I love you' accompanied by a Sutton Flower's single red rose? At certain times of the year things become a little different. Easter sees blooms that reflect the festivities, and at Christmas it's also possible to get gifts, cards and wrapping paper. I like to visit just after work, when Birmingham is winding down after a long day. This is when there are bargains to be had, as Sutton Flowers sells off the day's stock ready to start afresh the next day. Put simply, Sutton Flowers is a little ray of sunshine in a busy corner of Brum.

I did find the shop to be way crammed and it was no surprise some of the flowers were placed outside. I also found the flowers to be expensive so I don't think I will be coming back here. Inside there are even more cut flowers but also a small card and gift section. It is the range of flowers I was so impressed with: fresh sunflowers and peonies along with things I didn't even recognise or know the name of. However, the flowers and stock doesn't seem cheap - £2.50 for one sunflower isn't exactly competitive when compared to city centre flower stalls. The staff were very friendly and helpful so perhaps for a special occasion it would be worth the extra money.

Almost two weeks later and I have still not received anything and needless to say I never received a tracking number after placing the order so cannot even take that route to try and find my package! I have contacted the 'company' numerous times with no reply whatsoever and cannot believe the poor quality of customer service. If I have still not had any response in the next few days I will reporting this company as I placed a large order plus the extra postage cost with no goods in return therefore in my opinion this is theft. Having now seen other reviews on www.reviewcentre.com along similar lines (which I wish I had seen beforehand!), I like other reviewers, agree that this company seems to be acting fraudulently with the odd order processed accurately to give the impression of an active company whilst in actual fact other customers are being treated fraudulently through acts of theft by the company. Not impressed at all! I only used this company because of the faster postage option, I wish I had stuck to the other company I had previously used who actually treat customers with respect! Please be warned about this company!
