Glenn Bookkeeping Service is very fast, friendly, AND knowledgeable when it comes to filing taxes. I used to bounce back and forth between H&R Block,TurboTax, and Jackson-Hewitt each year. Unfortunately, it became evident that those places don't employ only tax and accounting experts. They employ anyone that can operate their particular brand's TurboTax-like software and pass a basic training course. This lack of experience was painfully obvious and made me look elsewhere. A friend of mine recommended Glenn a few years ago and I have been going there every year since. It's cheaper than the big box tax preparers, but far more experienced. I 10-99 myself for part of my cleaning and they failed to file my state taxes on my 10-99, i then had to send a check to the state treasure office after i already paid them to file my taxes and this should have been their job to do this, after that experience the person also forgot a number in my accounting number and my taxes weren't deposited into my account and I now have to wait 15 business days for a paper check, and then have to wait for my federal check and they are unsure if it will be be given to them or if my federal will be sent also as a check to me like my state taxes. I will never pay them again to file my taxes especially since ive been doing it on my own for NINE years with never a problem like this. I am a single mother to 3 recently divorces and was really relying on my state refund due to personal reasons and health reasons and they really put me in a really tough spot at this time of the year. read more
