I did a google search on appliance repair in the Manchester area and Glenn's Appliance was in the search. I have an LG washer and he told me on the phone that they do not service LG. First suggestion, please list certain brands on your repair page that you do not fix. It would have saved both of us time. So, I ask for a recommendation for a business in the area who repairs LG. (As a side note, I operate a small mom & pop operation and if I cannot help a customer, I will tell them where they can find what they need. I find that this helpfulness brings them back to me.) The guy on the phone tells me that "No one does. LG's are very tough to work on and their parts are hard to find." It turns out that that was an outright lie. I called "Mr. Appliance" next. They informed me that they could help. They even emailed me a confirmation of the appointment and included a photo of their technician so that I would know beforehand who would be in my home. They sent a guy out to my house, he listened to my machine and then diagnosed it and had it fixed in just about 20 minutes. They accepted cash/checks/credit cards right on the spot. They then proceeded to email me a receipt and one day later, another email to thank me again and check on how the washing machine was. Because in this on particular instance Glen's chose not to help in any capacity, I would never personally purchase anything from them and I will continue to let others know how unprofessional that business is. I had set up an appointment with Glenn's appliance. Arranged for someone to be at my home during the window they gave me (12-4; not a small window). At 1:07 the repairman called my cell and left a message saying they were on a tight schedule and if I did not respond to his message within a few minutes they would not be able to keep my appointment. I was in a meeting (which is why I knew I would not be available during the "window" and had arranged for another adult to be available to meet the service representative). When I returned the call 8 minutes later I was told the service representative did not hear back from me in time and had moved on to another call. They wanted to re-schedule me for 4 days later. This is absurd. When I made the appointment I told the folks at Glenn that I would be sure to have an adult in my home to meet the service representative because I would not be there personally. They assured me this was fine. We need a repair on our refrigerator, this is not something we can wait 4 days on! The service representative did not even go to my home, or they would have seen that there was in fact someone there to meet them, as I had told them there would be. TERRIBLE SERVICE. read more

My washing machine failed and my dryer were failing. Glenn got me high efficiency replacements. The prices were slightly better than Home Depot would have been. He made sure I had duplicate receipts and rebate applications for the energy saving rebates. He and his helper delivered and installed them as part of the price. A local business with decades in the same town has to be treating customers well. It makes me wonder sometimes about negative reviews, if it's not the competition. Glenn's Appliance wouldn't stay in business if the negative review were true. Glenn's Appliance is a local business selling and servicing appliances for neighbors and friends. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The computer on our washing machine acted weird, Glenn offered to look at it THAT DAY. My dishwasher control panel failed last November. I wanted to replace the dishwasher but the previous homeowner installed a tile floor which prevented the removal of the dishwasher without removing two tiles. I replaced the control panel and less than 6 months later the control panel failed. I called and Glenn told me the panel was probably refurbished and only had a 60 day warranty and I asked if he could find out if it was new and had a one year warranty and he refused. He told me I had to call Whirlpool on my own even though he procured the part for me. Typical company loves taking your money, they just dont provide service afterwards. I told Glenn Id provide an online review of what happened and Glenn said thats unfair, well you know whats also unfair, not willing to make a phone call to see if Whirlpool would back up the part they sold me a few months ago. Enjoy the review, you earned it. Now Ill go elsewhere, IM pretty sure I can find someone who can replace two tiles when I buy the new dishwasher. read more

This is a first class operation. We purchased 2 dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves and a washer and dryer for our rental properties 3 years ago from Glenn's Appliance & More. Not only were they reasonably priced, but Glenn's personnel came out and professionally installed the units, all at very competitive prices. This month, we needed to replace a dishwasher, as one of our tenants destroyed the other one, and we needed repairs to a washer, dryer and refrigerator - all damaged by the same tenant. We called Glenn, they showed up when they promised us, got the job done, once again at a very competitive price. I needed a new washer. Glenn was there to guide me to a Speed Queen washer - American made and built to last! Best appliance purchase I have made in a long time. I had read about the PureWash system and Glenn explained the concept to me and I was sold! The washer and PureWash were installed by Glenn and an assistant. Before you use GLENN'S, read this. Had them do a repair and it was done incorrectly with missing parts. Called them back but they said they even if it was their fault they only warrant their work for 10 days !!! They would be more than happy to return but would charge another 90$ for a service call. Had to bring in another company to fix it at additional cost. Take my advice, use another company where they have more than a 10 day warranty and do the job correctly. All others give 90 days. Also the owner did not seem to care at all about customer service. read more
