The owner's really nice working with me to do a slightly more complex project to alter the jeans so I can wear it. Projects will cost more than simple alterations (like hemming pants), but I think they've been really nice and it's very worth it! Also, instead of directly fixing my friend's dress, the owner actually suggested an easy fix that would cost no money instead. I would definitely trust her for alterations!

Of note: the shop can be hard to find, as it is in Carr Mill Mall (not really a mall, little indoor shopping strip behind a Harris Teeter). I usually park in front by Weaver Street Market. It was a tricky fix, because the sleeves and pants had to be pared down the inseams to prevent billowing, and that job was done well, and that's why I give more than one star. But I paid $94 and the cuffs on the pants and shirt are terrible and continue to unravel and pull apart to this day. It's truly unacceptable. The threads were tangled, overlapped and loose. Many now have come completely out. It was a very sloppy job on a uniform I paid a lot for, and more to tailor, and is now ruined. Further, on pickup, I'd asked for a patch to be sewn on and it wasn't, so they had to crank that out fast. Not at all worth the $100 I spent, I was very disappointed not to be proud of a local business.

I just needed the straps of the dress to be shorter and for the tulle/lace in the front to be replaced with fabric from the dress. First, they lost the replacement fabric I provided. Next, they cut the straps of the dress dramatically and changed the entire structure of the dress to an unwanted empire waist dress! After crying in the store from being groped (yes, groped) and gaslit by the rude staff, they promised to correct their mistake and for me to come back. After coming back two more times (each the dress straps were not adjusted as requested), they let out the bust of the dress. This was not requested at all and now my perfect dress is a complete disaster! The staff at Lee's Tailors managed to destroy not only the dress but the vision for my wedding. After going back and forth to them FIVE times, I managed to get my dress from them. Now, I have to either purchase a replacement dress or find another seamstress all before my wedding in three weeks!! I'm completely screwed and left scrambling!
