I can tell they spend quality time with my pets and follow the extra steps to correctly administer medication. They are also very neat and tidy, I don't come home to any dirty petfood dishes and the house is always locked up securely. The sitter even remembers to put the garbage bin out, which I always forget to do! We will definitely continue using and recommending this service to others in the area.

My other two cats are still kittens and need to be worn out. Kathy always spends a little extra time with them to make sure they get some love, attention and exercise. This is the best doggy day care! They keep the small dogs behind the counter and the larger dogs separate. I think they also let the dogs play based on sizes. The best part is that the owner and the workers truly love dogs. You can trust them with your babies and will go the extra mile to make sure they have fun. The owner also tries to train the dog once in a while. I come here every week and it tires my crazy dog out. I have had many pets, dogs and cats, since moving here 40 years ago and Palmetto Vet has been our vet for all those years. They're a busy veterinary practice because they have a lot of loyal customers. I have on occasion had what I thought was an emergency situation with my animals and I have always been able to go in and they have worked me in and solved any problem my pets have had. This, of course, can throw them off schedule and it's because they care. I've never felt rushed and have always been given the time to ask my questions and be given proper answers. I don't find them just in the business of money, they're in the business of caring for your pets. I highly recommend Dr. McClary and her staff for all your pet needs. I've brought in my cat several times for the same chronic digestive issues and she just shrugs and gives me a steroid without exploring any possibilities of what the cause may be or other treatment options. She doesn't explain anything to you and brushes off your concerns because she's so focused on getting in and out within 2 minutes. She manhandles my cat during the exam (in a rush) and doesn't even get a proper look. I've had to take my cat to another vet because she is just so unhelpful. Furthermore, she still recommends declawing cats in the year of our lord 2026, despite there now being substantial research that it's unethical and painful. Her knowledge is just plain outdated. Don't take your animals here if they have any conditions that need proper time and care. Go to Dr. Gerard at Advanced Veterinary Hospital on Wilson Hall Rd instead. He explains things wonderfully.
