Bought a car from Global Cars in Acton with a very limited 3 month warranty from them. Just after the 3 months i had a major gearbox problem and went back to them to repair as was a long standing issue with this car. As the car was faulty and not fit for purpose i told them it should not have been sold to me. I rreceived no help from them and instead in simple terms was told ' Cant Help'. Informed them that I would take legal action and they said 'Go Ahead'. I had to get the gear box fixed from another garage at a cost of £1000 to me. I started a small claim proceeding and we went to court. The judge found in my favour and asked them to pay. They even had legal representtaives with them would you believe it. They counter claimed and still the judge found in my favour and i took out an execution order to get the bailiffs to recover the money due to me.. All this took many many months to progress. In the last few weeks the bailiffs informed me that they had slighty changed their trading name and the previous company had been dissolved. Now i have no claim on the new company. I dont know how companies can do this and get away with it. If you buy any cars from them, beware and make sure you get a qualified engineer to check the car out. Brought a car from this dealer a few days ago, only to find that the car would not start that evening. After the a phone call to the manager, who was was rude and unhelpful he initially who told me to call the AA, after I refused he said he will as a good will gesture change the battery for me. The battery was changed and upon arriving home the car would not start again. The company has refused to answer my emails and avoided my calls. Still awaiting their answer. Avoid them, I wish I read the reviews on internet before purchasing from them. Very stressful. read more

WASTE OF TIME! AVOID!! Having traveled all the way down to their showroom and being told over the phone the vehicle has full service history and very good condition of the vehicle was which a total lie! Front bumper was damaged, drivers side skirt had a dent!, rear bumper damaged with a parking sensor had fallen behind the bumper. All 4 alloys badly damaged! All 4 tyres needed changing! As for the service history every print out did not even have a single mileage record! After speaking to Joseph stating that this car does NOT have full service history as the mileage could not be verified there was no sign of interest apart from him mentioning how much every service cost!! Car has been at their showroom for 1 week the least you expect that the car they are selling is advertised as per their ADVERT!! Joseph insisted that the admin lady this admin lady that just a load of excuses! AVOID!! A total waste of time and did not even apologies for the time wasted! AVOID!!!!! CON DEALER !! dishonest! rude! arrogant! we bought an Audi A4 cabriolet from them. after only 1 WEEK the engine light, ABS light both came on which means they temporarily cleared the fault with computer to get rid of the car! (you would never think a dealer would do that) .. Both CAT converters after 10 days developed faults and when i took the car to my mechanic, he showed me the signs of previous dodgy repair to the CAT. we all know any repair to the CAT would be temporary and the only permanent solution would be to replace the CATs well surely they knew this cost £1600 + VAT and it is a dealer only part so they decided to make a temporarily repair and sell the car quick! we know now why he gave us £700 discount that easily... We took the car back and said they need to make a compensation but they were so rude and arrogant and refused to take responsibility as said car sold as seen and they didn't get MOT for it.. they say every car comes with warranty so we called the warranty and they only cover you up to £200 per part... Avoid them , DO NOT get fool buy their cheap prices... read more
